Yep, nature, and IVs are preset.
The Espeon you start with has the max possible sp. atk. for an Espeon.

After hearing about Black and White I caved and bought a DS. So now I've had Platinum and Soul Silver for almost over two weeks, but started new games three days ago out of boredom.
I joined the guild just tonight.

It's great to find an active community that trades and battles. The game is rather boring on its own, and I find the GTS to be extremely limited.

I think I'm pretty far from actually having a viable team. I'll have to beat at least one of my games up to the Elite Four first, I imagine.
I've only scratched the surface of the threads in here. I'll go peek in the gyms to see what's going on.
