I hope so.I have hopes that,after the changes,we can all RP proper and rather moderate characters that are fun.If you look around,at this point almost every character here is like a noob from barton town.The difference being they can think and spell. Being able to think and spell doesn't give you the right to anymore powers then anyone else,now does it make your backgrounds or characters better.A truly good RP-er can make the best of what they have and make the RP good.I'm not insulting anyone,or at least not making an effort to.I'm sure Xol and Mastema are capable of RP-ing low-power but fun characters,as I'm sure everyone else is.I played one this night,that died.Died naturally.Naturally and by freak accident.Thing is,if everyone is lowered to the same standards,then battles will be won over RP ability.Overpowered or GM nonsense will be scarce,found only among noobs.

biggrin That sounds good to me. I think I'll step up some plans I had for Serenity. She is based a little off a comic called SoulFire. At some point Serenity was going to loss all her powers anyways. I hope I turn out to be a good rper.

Shouldn't be hard.You just have to accept that with rules will come winners and losers.Sairys for exampple is a normal human,she hadn't the power or strength to save my character tonight and he died in her arms.That's just a fact of life.With the rules I've applied to myself I have to deal with the fact that I might lose in this game.The thing about role playing is you can make another character and go again.It's about trying over,not about being death-free.As I've said,no one stays dead in this guild...now I can keep bitching about it,or I can prove a point.I think it's clear which I'm doing.It may not be heard,it may be rejected,but it's a point nonetheless.Not that I don't appreciate the effort being made.That's why I posted that I heard changes are being made.I'm happy as could be.However,this is just me talking,on't base everything off one persons saying.I could be wrong.

Ok, it's time for the Shadow/Wolf cameo. For the record, yeah there are changes planned, yeah we're working on systems, and yeah Soul's right you'll be able to get in and RP fine. Normally I'd try to set aside some time and RP with you since it seems you're most often on during the graveyard shift but I'm tied up right now. Give it a few days for the holidays to blow over and you'll find the place much more active.
