As it turns out, Scout wasn't as tired as he thought he had been. For that moment, Scout had been still and quiet, but some secret pocket o energy made itself known, causing him to start shifting about on the ground in his corner. He'd settle for a few seconds, but then move around again until he found another comfortable spot... And then move again because there may be an even more comfortable spot. Finally, he laid on his back while staring at the cieling and gave a sigh. Yes, it was the sigh of "something is on my mind, and you will hear about it whether you want to or not". "You think Elizabeth's okay?"

Medic was getting ready to shout at the boy to just settle down already, but then he heard that sigh and cursed under his breath. He should have known better than to let a Scout in when he wanted to sleep. "Probably," he answered, voice flat. Which one was Elizabeth, again? Maybe he should try and learn a few names. It was so much easier when it was just eight other men he had to keep track of...

Scout could hear the light curse. Alright, fine. Maybe he'd just mae his concern quick and then shut up since he didn't want Medic coming over and kicking him or kicking him out. "I mean, you're alright, and you got hurt pretty bad. I donno. I guess I'm jus' worried 'bout her since she did get stuck under that thing we faught earlier, plus she seemed pretty upset about something earlier.... But, I'm sure it aint nothin'. Night Doc." He was actually kind of hoping Medic would maybe get the hint he wanted to talk about it a little more, but at the same time, he was preparing himself for one of those big a** books Medic enjoys reading so much to come flying in his direction.

Medic knew that tone of voice. Scout only used it when he was really thinking about something, and Scout never kept what was on his mind to himself. Even though he had said good night again, the German knew he would just start asking more questions in another few minutes. Maybe if he humored the boy his mind would be put at ease and he would shut up sooner. His leg was bothering him too much to just get up and force him to be silent, and Scout wasn't injured in any way so he wouldn't let the doctor inject him with a sedative, so this seemed the easiest way. "Upset?" He at least tried to sound sincere about it; it probably just came off as less harsh than usual.

Scout did appreciate that Medic was being nice and humoring him on this. He turned his head towards the doctor and nodded his head. "Yeah. I kinda found out alotta stuff 'bout Alfred an'... uh, his brother-" damn, he forgot what's-his-face's name again- " and I kinda acted like a real jerk about t since I thought they were both just tryna pull my leg like you guys do every now an' then. But, well, Elizabeth told me they weren't lyin', an' that was after I accused her of bein' in on the joke too, so now I feel kinda bad... Medic, didn' I hear something about you being married. That means you're good at getting girls to forgive you, right? Mind giving me some advice? I don' think she's mad at me or nothin' but if she is, it'd really bother me. I promise to shut up if ya help me out by jus' tellin' me at least a good idea as ta what ta say to 'er." The promise of quiet would probably make Medic a little more willing to give some advice. Funny how Scout didn't really realize he was more or less bribing the doctor.

"'I'm sorry' is usually a good place to start," Medic replied, jumping on the promise of silence (and neither confirming nor denying if he was married or not). People liked it when you admitted you were wrong, didn't they? Funny that Scout was asking advice about women from someone who was very much not a people person. "Just try to talk to her like she isn't more stupid zhan you. Say you did a dumb zhing und feel bad about it. Und if she tells you to apologize to zhe ozzers, do so." That should take care of it. Only, now he was curious... "...Vhat do you mean by 'a lot of stuff...?'"

Huh... Who knew it would be so simple! Well, Scout definately appreciated hearing the german doctor giving him the advice. He would definately try it out tomorrow. He heard Medic's question and made the universal sound that could only mean he probably shouldn't have said anything. "Gee, uh, I don' know if I'm s'posed to tell any body or not. I'm pretty sure this is one of those keep quiet secrets, and it's hard enough for me to know stuff other don' know..." It really was one of those situation where he probably should have permission from the people who told him before he told any one else. "I'd ask Al tomorrow when you get tha chance since it is 'bout him... And a couple othah people... But I can't say nothin' else 'bout it!" He bit his tongue lightly, trying his best not to spill the secret to Medic.

Medic simply rolled over and gave Scout a look. The same kind of look he gave the boy when he tried to lie about who was actually eating his vegetables, or when he tried to claim other people must be eating his snacks and drinking his energy drinks, because he certainly wasn't consuming almost double what Medic had said was safe. "Herr Scout, I am zheir doctor now. As such, I need to know 'stuff' about mein patients, or else I could misdiagnose zhem or give zhem medicine vhich vould actually harm zhem instead of help. You have no idea vhat could go vrong if I don't know just vhat it is I'm dealing viss." That should scare him into talking.

Even in the dark, Scout could see the look. How the hell was it possible for Medic to see right through Scout even when it was dark in the room?! Honestly, Scout had no idea how it was Medic knew when Scout was keeping a secret from him or lying to his face and was able to manipulate the truth out of the young Bostinian's mouth. Sometimes, Medic was more manipulative than Spy! ... But only sometimes. As the pressure Medic put on Scout's shoulders increased with the fact that his new friends could die because Scout didn't say what they were, Scout made the whimpering sound that indicated he was about to crack. Finally, he blurted out the secret that he had been told. "Alfred's really America! Like, he's the embo- embody- Oh, what ever that word is- He actually IS America! An' his brother's Canada and 'Lizabeth's Hungry an' I think there was some one else, but I can't remember!" He huffed, almost in relief to get that off his chest... This is why Scout sucks at keeping secrets.

"Oh, zhat," Medic replied, rolling back over. "Ja, I know. Ludvig told me; he is Germany. I zhought he vas just crazy at first. Und Heavy's vife to be, she is vone, too, but I've forgotten vhich." His tone was very unconcerned, as if this whole thing was common. "I still vould like to know how it's physically possible for vone person to be an entire country... but zhey don't even know." Of course, he could think of a few ways to go about finding out... but they were risky and would most likely get him into trouble.

The phantom moved it's head as if to look towards Oomizu. But all it did was give a laugh as 3 small bright red orbs seperated from it's own body. The 3 orbs then surrounded Oomizu and fired various soul arrows in ana ttempts to keep her off his prey. Joseph was making a small advantage when he saw that the phantom was distracted, but not by much.

Soap just laughed when he saw Haku beginning to feel the pressure. "Well, that's just the thing. I'm not going to tell you. But you can go ahead and try to figure out what you think would be the best thing to do. I'll tell you if it's not enough." He told her "He wanted to make sure that she did a certain something. Something that, if achieved, would give her exactly what she needed.

Well that was a relief! Now that Scout had spilled what was on his mind, he suddenly no longer felt restless. He yawned and stretched lightly before he rolled over on his side, not concerned in the least about the fact that there was no explaination how one person could be an enttire nation. Unlike Medic, he honestly didn't need to know. Scout didn't even bother saying good night this time before he passed out, snoring softly in his corner as he slept.

Haku bit her lip and looked at the ground. How do you place a value on what you love to do most, even if you thought you weren't any good at it? So, she decided to go the easy route in figuing out what he was wanting. "I- I'll do what ever you want me to..."

Oomizu threw up her barrier to protect herself from the arrows shot at her. She then surrounded her blade in the purifying energy and slashed at the spirits attacking her. "Joseph, what do you need me to do to help you?"

The snoring was one thing that Medic could thankfully deal with. He pulled his blanket just a bit higher before settling back down, himself. His leg should be fine by the time he woke up, that RED was locked away so there was no threat of revenge, and there really wasn't anything else he needed to be worrying about. Now he just had to hope there wouldn't be any missions called before he woke up.

((Okay. I asked Ruki for an update, but that was a few days ago, and now I'm here, but I'm lost on who to reply to, and I don't have time to really read through and find out *I have to create two presentations and write two eight page essays- two of those things are due tomorrow/Tuesday, one right after Thanksgiving, and one at some time I should probably look up... And I have to voice track for a radio station today... and I'm going home soon, which is happy, but I need to make sure things are all taken care of first ><

Anyway, who do I need to reply to? I'll try to reply tonight when I have the information ><
Super sorry guy!! I'm failing at this crying ))

Joseph was trying to think of just that. The old monk was the one that was conjuring it, so he thought that he would be the secret. "The old monk! He's controlling it! Killing him may cause this thing to dissapear!" He told her as he tried to continue to fend the phantom off.
Soap just laughed and shook his head. "It's not going to be that easy. You have to do something, and I'll determine whether or not it's worth it." He told her, tossing the headphones to her as a bit of forward payment. "And remember, the longer you wait, the better chance someone will catch us in here." He teased.
