It's from a cartoon about lab mice. Hank pitched it to Warner Brothers after that time his mice broke out and tried to summon Dormammu.

He's probably pretending to be annoyed to avoid being emotionally vulnerable. He does that. I prefer to act aloof and disinterested in anything that doesn't involve intercourse.
