Seaphron Oh yeah I saw that on gonintendo a few days ago. I think that she will be. Sauvie brought up a good point saying that she is the only Starfox character who doesn't use guns, ext. I can see her as being playable. Plus having a Fox that people actually like is a plus mrgreen The Staff and Magic though is my Selling point for her though it really is. Melee attacks for the A button and Magic for specials... Seems good to me at least.

Kind of old now (it's ok though), but anyway... Playable? I don't know. They have to have voice acting for the Assist Trophies and story cut scenes too, so there's still a good chance that she's not playable. sweatdrop

That is what made me think of her being a playable characeter when you pointed that out. I was thinking she would just be in the SE up until then.

I hadn't really thought about her that much before, but I agree that she has a chance as a playable character. She's already been in 3 games and she'd be more diverse than the other Star Fox characters. There is a chance at her being an Assist trophy, I have a feeling she will be more than that.
And sorry if it was old news.

Tatsuman kyoskue So, really, please explain how one or two characters that are Japan only is "way too much emphasis" when the character that'd be getting replaced with would be nearly a clone. Also, international success? Earthbound? Sure, a big sleeper hit, but it sold nothing even remotely comparable to Mario or anything like that, it's sales kind of sucked, actually. sweatdrop To Sauvie: Well, it's a new character, there's obviously going to some differences if he does replace Ness. It's not like when they replaced Ocarina Link with Twilight Princess Link where it's mostly minor tweaks. Also, remember, thi9s is a new game. A lot of characters will play differently, especially since everything seems to be slowed down a little. No, but replacing an existing character with a Japan only one is too much emphasis.
I didn't say it didn't help the localization, but then again, Marth and Roy didn't replace anyone.
I can't argue with FE, because I haven't played any of them. I'll take your word for it that everybody for some reason hates Lyn.
Actually, it was a smash hit in Japan, and it sold fairly well in the US because of it's extensive promotion in Nintendo Power.
Why does that cross the line? Neither has a personality to like or dislike, and essentially have the same moves. You can trust me on the Lyn bit, although I have no idea why they seem to want her stoned to death... eek It was a decent to fairly big success in Japan, I'm quite sure that it didn't even come close to comparable to a Mario game. And I'd say that word of mouth sold Earthbound in the US more than NP. neutral

And sorry if it was old news. Just look at it Like this Fox (For whatever reason ~coughbrokencough~ was the most popular Character in Melee. The Starfox franchise (again for a reason that escapes me) is also extremely popular, gaining popularity since Starfox on the gcn and DS. But who is there to use in the Series? Slippy Peppy Wolf and his team They would all use Guns of some sort. Krystal is the only person who has a Melee Weapon and Magic in the series from what I have played. Not to mention I am pretty sure Sakurai Wanted more Villians and Females in Brawl so I think that she has great odds to get in. I just Wish that Falco replaced Fox xp

I guarantee he's 10X more popular than Lucas and Ninten combined, so it doesn't seem likely that he'll be replaced with a less known character.
I trust you. I don't think you'd blatantly lie to me just to make a point.
Nothing sold better than a Mario game dude. Especially not in the SNES era. Nah. Never underestimate the power of the pres.

Joanna Dark I hope the include Midna, as a character. That would be awesome. She'd almost have to be with Wolf Link to make it in though... Which would be pretty bad a**.
I'm guessing alternate skin for Zelda, sadly. Then again, Sauvie does make a point with Smash needing a few more female characters....
I just don't know anymore sweatdrop

I doubt Midna will be a stand alone character as well, and quite honestly I don't want wolf link in Brawl.
THough I would like to see Young Link become Mask Link, and be able to turn into the zora, goran, and deku scrub mask guys. Final Smash being the Diety. To me that would just own.
Though Midnas final smash could be her picking up a bridge and just wailing on someone XXD
