Atem nodded slowly. "And where are you from, Kira?" He asked, then paused, frowning a little. "Do you know that one boy, Ry.. Ry... uh..." Atem struggled to remember the pronunciation of Ryou's name. "Ry-oww?"

"Yes, I think he had asked about you... What a shame that Bakura had broken in here and stole him, though." Atem obviously wasn't being kept up like Kalim and Mahado were on the going-ons of his own palace. He looked over to Seto. "Is there any word on where Bakura is, by the way?" Seto stiffened, considering his options. Tell Atem that yes, they had not only located but also brought Bakura back and had somehow failed to inform the pharaoh, or that no, Bakura hadn't been found yet. Choices, choices... "No, great pharaoh. We have not yet heard anything on where Bakura is."

Kira couldent help but laugh. She then spoke in japanese curious if atem would understand her "what a lier you are priest."

Atem looked up curiously at Kira. "Oh, that's that language Ry-ow and Rei spoke." He said, just to point it out, it seemed.

Kira nodded speaking in arabic "yes it is. It's called japanese.I also speak english." she tucked hair behind her ear not relising it reviled her eye.

Atem's mood immediately shifted to the one Kira was a little more familiar with; not the dull, moody one. "Where did you get that?" He snapped, his eyes narrowing and he looked up at Seto. "Why the hell didn't you tell me she had a Millennium Item?! What of Priest Akhenaden? Did she steal it?"

Atem turned an angry glare towards Seto. "Well, Seto? Is there something you've been keeping from me?" He growled, getting to his feet. Seto bowed quickly, moving backwards. "I'm sorry, great pharaoh, but I have other matters to attend to at the moment. Later, perhaps, we can talk." He quickly left before Atem had a chance to question him further. Atem swore and punched the bedpost. "Dammit, he always does that..." He grumbled, but did nothing to try to get Seto to stay.

Atem blinked, turning slowly towards Kira. "What? No, of course not. Not yet, anyway." He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "One thing Seto had been telling the truth about is the need for an heir." He sat down on the edge of the bed, gesturing for Kira to come over to him.

"You being the first wife of me, the pharaoh, means that you are, in a sense, the queen of Egypt." Atem said in an almost-bored voice, as though he was reciting something he had learned before. "I am the pharaoh so my word is law. The ceremony of marriage can take place later." He obviously wanted to hurry up and get their 'honeymoon' over with. "Once I am satisfied you will leave the main area of the palace to be in the woman's section."
[ xd It'd be funny if, afterwards, the real Atem came out and was all, "Kira?! What are you doing in my bed?"]

Atem yawned a little. "I need an heir. You're my wife. Get my meaning? If you have any problems with this, bring it up with Bakura. He was the one who killed Mkhait, and if she would still be alive I wouldn't need you here."
