Chisuchina The only trouble with most of the stuff for my age is I haven't really found any sci-fi/fantasy that isn't as much about who's screwing who in intimate detail as it is the actual plot. I've found a couple though that I really love though so it's not all a loss :3 Ohgeez this. I've stopped picking up random books for my age because every one has some drab of romance in it that ruins the story. I read Icecore for my summer reading assignment, and at the end it was all "RANDOM KISS LOL". Seriously the protagonist HAS to fall in love with the first person of the opposite sex in the story. gonk
The Artemis Fowl series was good, but only up to the 4th or 5th book. Nice mix of both scifi and fantasy. I'd recommend it if you haven't read it already. :U

I know how you feel, I just want to get some real amazing fantasy books that aren't always about someone/thing trying to destroy the world. Terry Pratchet's stuff is great. I'd recommend him to most.

@Aly: I've heard of those, briefly, though I can't say when or where. I'll have to look into it :'D
@Hen: GOD, I KNOW RIGHT? That's why I liked the 12th House series by Sharron Shin; it was a good mix of political intrigue and magic. The same with the Aleria series...though it did kind of have world-ending implications towards the end, it was still a great read.
@Football: AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA, THE JETS WON, THE JETS WON! THEY ACTUALLY WON!!! WE'RE COMING FOR YOU NEXT BRADY, PATRIOTS ARE GOING DOWN maybe >_> scream scream And who loses to the Seahawks!? WHO!? What an EMBARRASSMENT rofl rofl

Could be worse. My state team was supposedly up 19 points in the big game (tourny maybe? I don't follow football.) and by half time, the other side had discovered the problem and obliterated them. Work and Church were talking about it.

Hoooo mah goodness. Madness yesterday with that Jets game. My brother is a big follower of the Eagles so American football is all he's talking about. At least it's more interesting to watch than soccer. I always end up falling asleep when that's on. Aaaand the Artemis Fowl series is definitely good.

@Pentacles: What state would that be XD?
@Ssion: Oh is he :3? I will admit, I'm kind of pulling for the Packers tonight, I've kind of got it in for Philadelphia for baseball reasons rofl But honestly, I don't care who wins that game, I love both team's QB's and wish them well.

Chisuchina, when I asked if you were into writers I meant if you'd be romantically interested in writers.
Homies, I'm gonna recommend the book I'm currently working on, and when it hits the shelves, you'll all get a copy!
Because you'll all be curious I'm sure and will buy a copy. Thanks for the support in advance!

Everyone I've ever dated has been interested in writing/reading, but considering how much I love writing/reading myself it's kind of to be expected rofl I have about a half dozen books half finished myself, I always kind of die towards the middle. My goal is to get published eventually too, I'm thinking I'm going to start writing more short stories to submit to journals and contests or whatever until I can figure myself out.

Speaking of writing - about the Chronicles forum, is anyone allowed to post in there about whatever zOMG/Gaia adventures they come up with or do they have to follow with the clan's official plot line or whatever?
And, speaking of sub-forums, can you post in the threads in the Junkyard? Or are those supposed to be off limits?
