OH MAH GOD, there must be an easier way to earn BP than the Battle Tower. It usually took me about a half an hour in Diamond anyways. Even at my absolute fastest It takes me like 20 minutes to clear a round of 7, and I only get 3 BP for that. I need to clear like 15 more rounds, so even at my absolute fastest, it should take 300 minutes, a little over 3 hours AT BEST. I see no reason why nintendo would think this is a good idea, especially since some of the prizes cost more than Outrage anyways.
I guess I didn't mind getting 17 or whatever for the Power Items I have, since I knew they would be so useful, but knowing I have to spend more than double that amount of time is just insane, especially since the move will only be taught to one pokemon. That just makes me wanna shrivel up and die in a corner.

I guess for now I'ma play LeafGreen to TM restock, and get a Snorlax and a Dratini.

Actually you can speed through the Battle Tower pretty fast with the right pokes. I manage to get through the first few 7 rounds in much less than 3hrs
If you have a poke that can hit hard enough you can sweep right though for the most part, for example I have an ev'd Garchomp with a jolly nature for that little bit of extra speed and max ev/iv in atk and speed. Now slap a choice band and use Outrage and you're set. Then if something takes out your lead all you need are two backups to finish the job.

Plus, beating Palmer gives you 20 BP alone. Doesn't take long to add up if you can beat him.

Or you could struggle and Use a Skarmory, Flygon and Kingdra.
But still manage to get to round 74 before a ******** Rapidash Horn drills 2 of your pokes, and 1 is hit with a critical and 1hko'd. stare
