Teddy kissed his forehead, brushing back some of his hair in the process. "You are so adorable babe." Sometimes, he just couldn't stand it.
Cracking his neck, Teddy waited for anything else to happen.

Mysia landed heavily by the gymnasium and Achilles lept off, donned in his full armor. He walked over to the gathering and nodded gravely to Cassandra.
"No worries sister. This will *not* happen! You will not be married to a mongrel Norse!""
"Hey!" Billy grumbled. "I happen to enjoy the stories of the Norse gods!"
Achilles slowly turned his head to Teddy and Billy and arches a light brow.
"And this is?"

Billy Kaplan and Teddy Altman. They're friends. In fact, Billy helped me in finding Cassie on New Cronus. Cassie invited them...and to Thanksgiving as well.
*Chris thought for a second.*
Achilles, I need to ask you something about these arranged marriages. Um...in private. redface

Cassie hugged Achilles happy to see her brother. She looked at the others..
" Thank you guys for coming. I'm being summoned to Olympus. They intend to marry me off and I need to convince my father otherwise. I asked that all of you come with me for support... and should there be no choice and I must marry the idiot I will need all of you there for emotional support."
Cassie smiled at them. She was glad her friends were behind her and it meant alot to her. At the same time she was sadden to not see Wallace and Hartley there but figured that they must be busy some where. Aphrodite then appeared before the group in all her glory.
" I see you have gathered your friends my champion then I shall take all of you to Olympus.."
In a flash of sweet smelling air and golden light the group was at Olympus in front of the greek gods all of whom were arguing with each other. Cassie looked for her father but Zeus was NOT present.

"Of course, Christopher. Whatever you need. But make no mistake about this particular arrangement."
Achilles's eyes darkened in intensity.
"It will not be happening!"
He then turned to Teddy and offered his hand to both he and Billy.
"I have heard much about the both of you. I saw you, Billy, at the competition last eve. You have impressive talents. Circe herself would be proud."

Billy staggered on wobbly knees, his arms held out to the side to shift his balance.
"Whoa! Major head rush!"
He looked at Cassandra and smiled.
"Hey do you think she can teach me how to do that? Major head rush!"
All of the bickering gos present halt their heated debates and their heads turn in unison and stare at the mortals before them. Billy grabbed for Teddy's hand and muttered..
"Awkward..."

*Chris swallowed hard. They couldn't do this to Cassie. It was tantamount to slavery. And Cassie and him...they belonged together. Chris felt that it in his heart. It was his truth. He needed her...and he didn't know what he would have left it she was taken from him.*
Achilles...
*Chris motioned Achilles towards the back of the group. He hoped they didn't all have super hearing.*
Uh...you know Cassie and I have...been together. Don't theses marriages require her to be a virgin?

Achilles put an arm around Chris's shoulder and whispered to him, "Is that really an admission you want to speak of with her over-protective big brother?"
He gave Chris a playful wink and his smile faltered, "It is usually a requirement, yes. Especially in the times where I reigned the battle fields. But whatever is happening, it might not be required in this instance."

What about her mother? Surely she has say. Cassie has never even lived with the Olympians. They can't come down and start bossing her around.

"I agree with you Christopher. Cassandra's mother should have a say in this. But seeing as we do not yet know what has brought the entirety of this on, let us wait and let it play out. My own mother is there..."
He points out Thetis to Chris, the goddess of the oceans who is speaking to Eros, god of universal passion.
"I will beseech my mother to allow Cassandra's mother to have her say when the time comes."

Aphrodite voice echoed in Chris's head.
"If you are implying that we don't know what happened between you two you are mistaken. We know as do the Norse gods... we are not gods for no reason. But that is not to be taken into account here."
A booming voice came.
" ALL OF YOU! IT IS TIME!"
Cassandra's eyes widen as she saw Hades sitting on Zeus's throne. Ares and Posidon on each side of him.
" Hades! What is the meaning of this?! How DARE you sit on my father's throne?!"
"Dear niece, your father is missing. Gone from this world... I am simply forfilling a much needed role as KING of Olympus."
Cassie looked at the other gods..Artemis, Eros, Dionysis...etc.
" And all of you just accept this?"
They grumbled.. clearly not everyone agreed. Hades spoke up.
" No matter the wedding will comence tomarrow. The Norse gods shall be arriving soon... and tonight you celebrate. And though I asked Aphrodite only to bring Cassandra here the rest of you may stay till after the wedding as our guests."
Hades went up to hug Cassie but she turned her back to her uncle.
