Yay, timezone buddy :'D heart !

And I try not to read below my reading level too often, if only because I'd have to buy like, an entire series to keep myself busy for a day, plus I always kind of end up wishing they'd delved more in depth with some of the plot lines; like, I still have all of my old Dinotopia books and they're just SO small and there's SO much more that could be done with them that I'm always kind of just left feeling unsatisfied after plowing through them in an hour XD

The only trouble with most of the stuff for my age is I haven't really found any sci-fi/fantasy that isn't as much about who's screwing who in intimate detail as it is the actual plot. I've found a couple though that I really love though so it's not all a loss :3

The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher Seriously a fantastic series. If you want more fantasy he has another series called the Codex Alera which is also very good.

I also suggest the Imager series but Modesitt, the Dragon Knight series by Dickson, the Xanth Series by Anthony, and the Valdemar series by Lackey.

My brother actually has both series - I perused the descriptions of the Dresden Files and wasn't really interested in them so I didn't actually read them, but I DID read Codex Aleria and I loooooooooooooooooooooooved it.

I haven't heard of the rest aside from the Valdemar series which is on my wishlist. Technically, I'm not supposed to be buying any more books until after I graduate at end of this year because I plan on moving almost directly after depending on my job status. I'll keep the others in mind though, thanks :'D

The Dresden Files has a lot of really good humor. Don't be put off by the description the whole series is a lot of fun.

Have you tried the Pern Series by McCaffrey?

Heard of it, but never read it. I don't remember why though, lol.

And I may consider giving the Dresden Files a try - my brother loves them and I DID like the Codex.

You know what would be a good idea?

Maybe having a thread where people could post when and what server they're on/planning to be on at any given point of time/day? I was cruising through some of the other threads and kind of noticed people had posted "I'm on here doing XYZ" kind of randomly in them.

Thats a great Idea, I would be easier to help people or hang with someone that way.

Technically it is the zOMG News announcement topic where we put that info.

I used to love the Redwall series. I loved the graphic novel they made for it as well.

Does anyone here read Terry Pratchett?

My brother does :'O You guys seem to have a really similar taste in books XD

And it was in the zOMG news thread that I noticed it, but there's a lot of chitter chat that goes on in there also about the updates so they kind of get lost. And I honestly wouldn't think to look their first to see if anyone is online doing something in zOMG.

Totally bummed that I have to wait until monday to take a spin with my new ring :<

I'm not sure how I feel about BB having mobs - while it's fun having a challenge again, it's kind of annoying not having a safe haven anymore. I kind of really liked the idea of BB being a hang out and now it's turned into a battle field :<
