Earlier....
Jasmine scowled as London left. He never looked back. The assassin then stood over the unconscious Iris and the bleeding Vincent. She ran through her mind the possibilities.
Evidence would be found, along with witnesses, to verify that she had been there. Even if her fingerprints weren't traceable to her, they were already in the system, somewhere. Jasmine knew that she should leave Iris alive. This would help her credibility... that she wasn't simply a random killer. The gun and the girl. Left alive and intact: check.
Jasmine turned to regard Vincent. He seemed dead. Jasmine would not waste her time or her dignity reaching down to touch the hell spawn, even just to make sure. If he wasn't dead... well, he wouldn't survive the night, surely.
Jasmine also knew that not a single bullet of hers had harmed him... this month. That meant that she was doubly able to be proved innocent. She had not committed a crime in this restaurant... the earlier incident would be left out of the equation.
So, Jasmine left Iris, Vincent, and the body of Boris. She did, however, take her money from Boris' pocket. The idiot had ruined everything, of course. So next on the itinerary... make another threatening call to the chief, pick up Claire and stash her somewhere safe, and kill that crazy psycho chick with the swords.
Guns beat sword, every time. Jasmine would be sure to pound this into that freaky girl.
