BridgeChan What the heck? gonk Have you been keeping in touch with the staff about the report? I haven't gotten even a single notification from any of the staff that they're even working on it. And yes, I did list this account as one of my mules... gonk But love is still here, forever.

I never got a notification that my account was being worked on, only when it was resolved. it only took a month or so, but i guess every case is different.

T-T;;
We just got back from the vet for an emergency call with Harle...
Not sure if she's ok though...Pete and I were getting them out to play when Harle started to whimper and yelp while panicking in her blanket. When Pete managed to fish her out, we noticed that her bum had blood on it and a little on the fur near it. So we called the vet, ran up there, and had Dr. Brentley check her out since our normal vet, Dr. Kling, wasn't in today. They did a few tests on her and were not able to come up with a diagnosis. So we're just suppose to keep an eye on her for a few days to see if any more symptoms occur. While we were there, he had asked if she had been vomiting which can be a sign that she has a blockage, though to my knowledge that was a "no". When we got home, I got to looking through their cage for a good search and noticed that Harle has indeed been vomiting...quite a bit too within the past 2 days I think. I was in too much of a rush to notice that she had done so today at some point since it wasn't there this morning. So I have to wait till tomorrow to call the vet again and give them the update.

-x- Lupess -x-: If you haven't heard back it just means that your issue is still being worked on and that a conclusion, either good or bad for you, hasn't been reached yet. I wouldn't give up hope. ^^
Sunny: Nooo, never send a second report. ^^; Unless it's been at least a year. Even then I'd tell you to wait.
Bri: Oh no! ; ; I hope Harle is all right. Are gastro-intestinal blockages dangerous in ferrets? (I mean I doubt they're a good thing in any kind of animal, but I hear they're particularly horrible for horses...wasn't sure about ferrets.)

When it comes to blockages in ferrets they are in alot of cases commonplace. But regardless of the abundance of them, they can be/are dangerous depending on the size/type/etc. of the object doing the backup to the system. Luckily, most blockages in ferrets can be treated with a good dose of laxatone and some water. But if the object is more stubborn, surgery would be needed. Though I saw Harle using the potty today and she seems to be passing "something" that seems abnormal compared to ferret kibble, so I'm praying and hoping that was the case and we're getting rid of it with the laxative. Also, Dr. Kling called me back earlier this morning and just told us to keep a good eye on her for a few days to make sure that really was the problem. But here's hoping :'3 *Crosses fingers*
