I am in The American Navy,Like L05t 50ul i spent to much time serious in RL,and pokemon i Loved since i was 4,so i decided to get back to it after a year and a half

Royal Infinity I think Tentae and I are the only ones int he guild who use Butterfree biggrin I'm 15. The youngest mod in the Guild.

Pokemon is one of the most ageless fandoms I've ever seen.
I know a 6 year old who likes it, and a 40 something year old that does also. XD

the metagame, (when i found out about it) is what got me hooked, all the different teams, and strategies

Same...I got into Pokemon competitively in June. I used to play it until I beat the story, then get 1 or 2 level 200's. Then never touch it again. But the strategies and stuff got me hooked.

See, that's why!
There is so much there. It can be casual or serious. Pokemon can be cute or vicious. There are so many that anyone can find species that appeal to them. And the Pokemon universe is so detailed, it can easily be connected with. So much content and history makes Pokemon RPing easy. There's something in it for most everyone.

Could someone with HeartGold or SoulSilver please do me a big favor? I wanted to teach my Tropius Outrage, but that can only be done in HG SS. I was wondering if I could trade it to someone and they could get to the move tutor for me. I only have one DS.
On the bright side, I've completely finished EV training it now, and I have the other TMs I need.

move tutors in HG SS require BP, which is very time consuming to aquire

I could trade with it items or something, although I'm sure none of you need money. It has PokeRus if that makes any difference...
If nothing else, I'll find a friend IRL that has one of em.
@Roy I like Outrage and Tropius, why not? I like unusual moves, like Night Shade on my Honchcrow.

@Toph Me too. I'm so sick of getting it, I want it out of my sight by the time I actually have all 17 or whatever it takes to get the Power items that are oh so very useful.
I could probs just teach it Aerial Ace or some other nice STABed move for the time being, and change it later.
