Cabron LaSwan Terara Drakon Cabron LaSwan Did you know that if you are a minor and you're caught sexting, you can be charged with distribution of child pornography?
For sending out pictures of your OWN BODY.
Apparently if you are under 18 you do not even own yourself.
I am Cabron's appalled shock. lolyeah... I learned that a while ago during a school assembly about it P: It doesn't matter whose body it is, it's still pornography of an underage person. You wanna see that so badly then go see the real thing > .>; So what magically happens to you when you're 18 that suddenly makes it okay? Just because the laws say that's when you're qualified to take your life into your own hands? Bullshit. I'm not underage, nor do I have a cellphone, but honestly, the legal system should just butt the ******** out of what happens between two consenting individuals, regardless of age. Hell, regardless of anything. If they both wanna do it, and it doesn't hurt anybody else, it's nobody's business but their own. I thought this was a free ******** country.
Also both; I got a new address a few months ago (cabron.laswan@live.ca) and I stopped using MSN in the hopes of speeding up my computer a bit. It's more a maturity thing. If you realize the potential consequences and such then you shouldn't have to worry about those things. The law should be there for guidance, not as restrictions. People break them anyway. I did. ;D

I did. ;D I get that, but turning 18 doesn't instantly make you mature. 17-year-olds have been charged with this s**t and a year doesn't make that much of a difference when it comes to understanding the consequences of sending out naked pictures of yourself. They are going to be sex offenders for their whole lives for privately sharing their own body with people of their own choosing. I don't agree with that. I can't agree with that. Laws are there to protect people and their rights, not humiliate and scandalize them.
Two minors can consent to fight and as long as no bones get broken, it's legal.
Two minors can consent to ******** and even if no harm comes of it, it's a crime.
Seriously, wtf?

I can't believe that the only member of Congress with the last name Weiner was involved in a sex scandal. rofl That is just too good to be true.
EDIT: @Odin: You have to admit it's just too perfect.

Aside from that I don't even know the situation. Normally when I hear "guy" and "crotch", I'm usually the first one there. But it was lulzy.

What would be a better cut off age than 18? I don't care for that being the magic number in situations but what would be better?

I read the wiki article, and the majority of the people polled thought he should stay in office. He chose to resign, so if shame's what he chooses, I won't begrudge him his freedom of choice.
d**k JOKES, d**k JOKES EVERYWHERE Canadian satirists won't even have to write anything this month. It's all there!
Besides, he's probably far too embarrassed about, you know, his n***s getting leaked to care that people are poking fun at his last name. I know that's the last thing I'd care about if my n***s got leaked. lol

I am far more mature than several people I know and there are people out there way older than I who are far less mature. 18 just seems to be the happy medium with College and "being an adult" <--- which people abuse and is just stupid. At lease alcohol is 21. But then again a lot of kids at my school drink, so there isn't anything you can do. People will abuse it either way. If they are stupid then they will abuse it, and people will abuse it if they feel that they can accept the rules.

-Dessynea- What would be a better cut off age than 18? I don't care for that being the magic number in situations but what would be better? How about no magic number? If the government has to get involved at all, how about a standardized psychological evaluation, a 'test' process similar to getting a license? I've met 38-year-olds who still act like 5-year-olds, as well as 12-year-olds more responsible and mature than many of the adults I know, so it's not really fair to give everyone a generalized cutoff based on age. In fact, it's not fair at all.
