Morrigan couldn't move, couldn't say anything, could hardly even breathe as this realization hit her. "Po-ar isn't here....he's probably on Tarnbsei too." she whispered. "I need to get Kazu-kun... Kazuhiko could take it back... I could seal Aled..." she whispered, looking at her palms. "I could seal him in the Tree with Kazu-kun, and we'd be safe again..."
She began to test her magick. "I wasn't myself at all, was I?" she asked Fir with a frown. "My magick's shot for tonight... I was Her, wasn't I?? Maeve.. Thom...??? What are you guys doing here?" she blinked. "I fought you too?? Hell no... not YOU guys.... Eara, maybe, but she's my little sister." she frowned.
"Here's what we need to do." Eara spoke up. "First of all, we need to get those damn cuffs he was wearing and trick him into using them again."
"I can play as if I'm still under the toxin." Morrigan nodded. "I'll do whatever I have to to make amends for this, I swear it. Did anyone get the cuffs when they broke off of him? I can reforge them." she added. "It'll burn... but I don't care, I really don't." she insisted. "I can charm them, even... I know I can. If we can trick him long enough that we can snap them on again..."
Eara sighed. "I can't believe I'm going to be stuck here during this." she muttered. "Lucky I love you."
"I am." Mor agreed. "I am. But that would take care of the teleporting ability... And we'll have him chained this time, because I'll be damned if the b*****d tries to choke me again." she growled softly. "I still have the spell I cast on him sealing him off from everyone, so he shouldn't be able to sense us just yet... not our thoughts, anyhow." she mused. "But again, this is relying heavily on if anyone thought to snatch the cusps while getting Pixel."

Eara chuckled softly, but Morrigan was all business.
"You guys have heavy gloves?" she asked quietly, glancing to Fir. "I can have these made in a few hours tops. I'll make them stronger this time, too..." she murmured. "Perhaps I can work in some sedative magick while I'm at it, so our favorite Ou won't be so volatile... Tracking devices, perhaps... You name it, it's done." she swore. "I'll go to Avalon right now and work on them if I must.... Or better yet," she smiled slightly, "perhaps I can figure out the sealing technique and work with a much stronger metal than this petty steel, that way Eara and I could carry them without problem.... Perhaps make metal shards we could inject deep under the skin..."
She was coming up with all sorts of ideas now. "That b*****d isn't getting away with this."
Eara in the meanwhile was raising an eyebrow at Patches. "So wait, what's a cast?" she asked quietly. "Believe it or not this is the first time I've broken anything."
"Sorry." Morrigan winced. "I really am, Ear'."
"I know." she spoke quietly. "I know. But don't you ever forget you took a bard's freedom for the next four months or so." she muttered. "b***h. I love you."
"Love you too." Mor rose to her feet, kissing her forehead before looking at the pillow. "Hey. Your head's bleeding."
"Yeah. Thanks." Eara muttered, but Morrigan was helping patch everyone up.
It was the least she could do at the moment, and three people well versed in medicine was much better than two.

Morrigan sighed. "Look." she answered Thom's silence quietly, "I... I'm really sorry."
She wasn't angry---no, she was guilty, humbled, and in fact maybe even a bit depressed. "I don't know what you both did that I responded how I did..."
"Oh, Maeve invoked Badb and Artemis!" Eara chirped, and Morrigan's face contorted with disbelief.
"No way.." she spun around, approaching them but keeping at a distance. "You've... it's only been a week and a day or two!" she shook her head. "You....Maeve, you can't be serious. Seriously?? She really did?"
"She fought Kazu-kun too, they almost blew up the house." Eara added. "Oooo... heeeey... that stuff's kinda cold." she beamed, watching Patches and Bubbles with avid curiousity.
Then again, could've also been the morphine talking.
"Maeve..." Morrigan bowed deeply, kneeling to one knee. "Thom. Please. Forgive me." she spoke quietly. "I would rather die than hurt either of you... please... I didn't even remember my OWN sister...or my son..."
Remembering Kazuhiko's cries for her and her stoic indifference pained the woman deeper than she could even express. "I'm sorry..."
"She really is." Eara agreed, glancing over at them. "She doesn't bow or do that sort of thing. She means it... I'd know."
"If you would let me, Maeve," she added, still staring at the floor, "I can teach you how to hold onto Badb longer...That... that is no light feat." she added. "If you brought her around, I can only imagine how serious things became. I know it's hard being a human, and it's very draining to hold that divinity in you for so long, but there are many techniques and things I could teach you... If... if this happens again, I want to make sure that someone's able to kill me." she added grimly. "I can't allow this sort of thing to happen again... and if you take me out, I'm positive you could take Aled out as well. Even if we both attacked him together..." she added, "He wouldn't stand a chance against two of the Morrigu."

Morrigan nodded. "I know. Calling is the easy part." she explained, still kneeling on the floor. "It's the holding that's the hard part. I'm not going to deny that Thom did work, because you both are so intricately connected..." she corrected herself, "But the thing is... how do I say this in modern terms... You can send all the energy to a lightbulb that you want, but if the lightbulb's burnt out, nothing is going to happen. Do you see what I mean? Look," she finally raised her head, looking up at Thom, "Look me in the eyes, Thom... You can't tell me what my intentions are, or were for that matter. I wasn't myself. Can you imagine forgetting your sister?" she asked, voice sharpening a bit. "Forgetting her, mistaking her for an enemy, and nearly killing her? Whatever toxin Aled cooked up is powerful enough to do that. I forgot my own son." she forced out through gritted teeth, fists clenching, her self-loathing seeping to the surface. "I watched him cry, and plead, and I ******** ignored him. Now...."
Just thinking about it made her feel sick. "Now... he's somewhere I can't get to, not until I have a LOT of magick back... Right now, I'm just trying to make sure that you understand, Thom." she softened again. "I don't even remember fighting the two of you, and I doubt I will for the next few hours. Please believe me. I give you my word as a Fae, and we can never betray our word if we give it. Please. I can't imagine what else I could do or say to earn your trust back, but know that I never intended to lose it like this."

Eara was trying not to giggle. "Wait, wait...so what's that white stuff, is that plaster?" she asked, looking up at Patches. "This is neat... I bet you this stuff's fun to play with..." she murmured. "Hey, so while I'm playing Immobile Chair Girl, what is there to do?? I mean...certainly, I'm not going to sit here all day..." she frowned. "I'd drive all of us mad."

Kazuhiko spread the word. "It's safe." he announced. "Da's in trouble... he's leaving for a long time." he lamented quietly. **Da, why??? I miss you...** he thought back to the man, sighing deeply. **I'm going to kill Granpapa, Da, whether Kit-Kat tells me I can kill or not. I'm going to. And I'm going to save our planet too. I promise, I will.**
Kaguyo took Ainsu's hand, and Kazuhiko led them out to Capsule Corp.

Almost immediately, Morrigan seemed relieved and distracted. "Kazu-kun..." she sat on the floor, trying to control her breathing. "Oh thank the Gods and Goddesses..."
"He's resourceful, Mor." Eara spoke up. "It's alright."
"But Po-ar's not here." Morrigan shook her head. "Gods, Po-ar's not here... I can't raise him alone, Ear, I gotta go." she rose to her feet. Now that her son was back, there was nothing more important to her. "I gotta go."
"I understand." she soothed. "Relax. If Aled can teleport, you need to keep him safe. We'll all be fine here."
Morrigan nodded, before teleporting away.

When she saw Kazuhiko, the boy paused for a moment before realizing she was alright. "MUM!!!" he nearly screamed, leaping at her. She caught him and hugged him tightly, and it was a rather tender moment for the two.
Morrigan sat back down on the floor and simply hugged him close, trying not to cry. "I'm so glad you're alright...!!" she kissed his hair repeatedly, "Oh sweetheart, I'm so sorry..."
"Da's in trouble!" Kazuhiko bawled. "He's in trouble Mum!"
"Don't worry..." she nuzzled him. "We'll bring him back, I promise."

Maeve sighed as Morrigan talked and then vanished, Pixel cursing about security against teleporters.

"Calling is so not the easy part," Maeve argued, even though Morrigan was already gone. "You have to do just the right song. Thom's end takes skill, mine just endurance."

Ashuri twitched, "I hear my name..." she whispered to Trunks before standing and opening the door to their room. "Hai! Hai!"

Meanwhile, Ainsu shook his head, "How do we intend to get Po-ar back, Morrigan-san?" he asked solemnly.
