that was story development. If I gave them to you my part in the RP would be over.
besides, you offered me a gun and loke at most about a thousand credits. an ultra common gun as a matter of fact, nothing special or valuable.

I don't remember.
I know it wasn't the offer though. I gave you the pistol because I had no use for it, and the credits to buy yourself another drink if need be. and it was 100 credits, not 1000.
I know because my offer was to buy the shards off you at any cost, even making up the difference if you were lower than my bid.

Taking money (or goods, but it works out to be the same) from people. Saying that you don't take money from people you distrust, and taking money from the Republic, Federation, NHI, whatever...well, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that therefore you trust us.
