April ears folded back, the look on his face worried her, following after her father as they entered the house. She looked back at her hands, they had returned back to normal and didn't look pale. What had happened? I don't understand... she thought to herself. She glanced around, but it looked like her mother was not home yet. Her worry directed towards her. She knew her mother would come sooner or later, sitting in her little corner, with her collection of books and proceeded reading.
Din bent down so the bone dragon and the red head could be face to face. She stretched out her hand, watching him sniff it, making sure she was a friend, then cooed, rubbing against her hand, screeching, demanding to be petted. "Heh, he's cute." Din said, stroking her hand over his bony head, and down his neck and spine.
Silver walked into Castle Town. She would have been there sooner, but she felt like taking her time. Her blue silver hair was braided back into a braid. She enjoyed being by herself. Sometimes it felt nice to hear no talking of the chattering castle town, just listening to the faeries giggle, the wind blow through the trees, birds twittering in the branches. She walked off, seeing her home was unlocked, her heart rushing, wondering if it was a stranger, or if it was Arious. The door opened, seeing Arious sitting down, there was worry in his eyes. He was staring over at April who was sitting down with a pile of books around her almost like a fortress, she would remove one book and replace it with the one she was reading. She returned her attention back to Arious. Should she tell him what she was thinking? About her missing adventure? No... I can't ruin it... not like last time. Just keep your mouth closed Silver. She thought, walking over to him. "Arious?" She said, touching his shoulder lightly when she sat down.
Opal was looking over at Vaati, he looked like he was arguing with himself over something. She jumped back when he shouted 'SHUT UP'. Freighting her quiet a bit, and stood up running off. "No! Vaati!" She shouted, watching him fall. She rushed over to him. "Are you alright?" She asked, how many times has she asked that question? Is that the reason why Vaati felt pathetic, is because she always had to treat him like he was going to fall over? This is my fault... I want to help Vaati get stronger but- she felt tears weld in her eyes at the thought of Vaati dying in a attempt at being stronger. She couldn't bare to loose him...

Zathier watched as Alyssa drew in her sketchbook. "So, what are you drawing now?" He ignored the cat head and wondered why she was sketching different letters.

"Nothing in particular..." Alyssa answered, moving from letters to the general shape of steak. "That should be enough now." She muttered as the dog treats filled the pen. Snowball sniffed the treats before she bent down to start eating them.
Look what you did now. She's going to cry. Why can't you behave yourself? Are that pathetic now? Why don't you just wish yourself stronger.
"I already told you, I'm not going to wish for it. Wishing is for-"
Weak people, but you're already lower than that, Vaati. A few words, Vaati, a few words is all you need to be the best. Stop being so stubborn with yourself and just wish for it. You have the power, so use it! You won't have to put up with Kaze or Zathier ever again.
Vaati didn't hear Opal. He could only hear his own voice arguing with him. His arms were wrapped around his chest, his eyes were narrow with confusion. "I wish... no... I can't... but... but... I need to..."

Niku was already devouring the steak when it appeared. "I guess Niku was a little hungry." He chuckled and watched the puppies feed. "So, why did you change your mind about going back to your home?" Zathier asked curiously.

Arious looked up at Silver. "There is something..wrong with April... I believe shadow was absorbed into her... She exhibited symptoms of shadow taking over her... but I don't know... She is fine now... I do not know how to fix it... I am... helpless..." He couldn't stand saying that word. Helpless... It felt like an insult to him. He gritted his teeth.
Liam nodded slowly. "That is the problem... most of my dreams are prophetic... And they come true... however... I don't... know if I like this one." He looked back over at the baby. Was it.. staring at him?
Rugen chuckled. "Hmm.. that is interesting. usually he attacks people... But this is quite interesting." He laughed and looked at some of the other things around his old room.

"I want to be completely calm before I go home. I don't want to explain much... or lie." Alyssa shrugged, watching Niku. He was a pig compared to Snowball, who was slowly sniffing everything be she ate it.
The baby continued to stare, then looked at his mother. Saya picked him out of his crib. He already seemed so intelligent for something that must only be a few hours old. "Explain, Liam." Saya glanced down at her child, going through several names in her mind. Shayne, perhaps?

Zathier thought for a moment. "Well, what if you brought me in with you? I doubt the nice, old couple would be too concerned about you, if you just act normal. And, if I'm there, they might not even notice." He explained with a smile. Again, part of his plan was because he wanted to spend more time with Alyssa, but the other part actually wanted to help.

Liam sighed. "Usually when I have visions, I am awake. However... lately... I have had permunitions of the future in my dreams... some of them are true but not all the time..." However, hearing the lady's thoughts, he smiled. "Shayne is a nice name... I have a suggestion though... I have always like the names of Seth and Darian... Though it is up to you."
Shadow groaned s he woke up slowly. His head was pounding. Perhaps he shouldn't drinks so much.... He opened his eyes, but that hurt too. He cursed and rubbed his face, though something wasn't right. He looked at his hand and there was black stuff all over it. He scowled and ran sluggishly up the stairs and into the room with the dark mirror. Looking at his reflection, he clenched his fists. "DARIOUS! YOU SON OF A-" but he didn't finish. Something caught his attention. Did he feel... no... it couldn't be.

"You would come with me until I got to my room." Alyssa joked and the dirt off her dress. She slung her backpack over one arm, still thinking about Vaati's words every time she didn't use her backpack properly. "I guess I can go go back then if you're coming."
"Why didn't you finish, my dear drunk?" Darious asked, appearing behind him.
"Hm, Seth... I like it." Saya answered, stroke Seth's head as he closed his eyes to fall asleep. He yawned, stretching his arms and leg before he snuggled into Saya's arms.

Zathier smiled and eagerly followed Alyssa to her home. "You seem a lot less shaky, than you were a few minutes ago." He pointed out, walking slightly behind her and off to the side a bit.

Alyssa smiled back, though she wasn't sure why she wasn't so shaky anymore. She hadn't really noticed. She opened the door and let Zathier in, but the house was too quiet. "Maybe they're in the back..." Alyssa muttered, rushing to the back door.

Zathier followed Alyssa to the back of the house. He tried to listen for any kind of sound, but didn't hear anything. "Are they sleeping, maybe?" He wondered curiously.

When she couldn't find the couple in the back, she looked in the bedroom. They weren't there either. "Zathier! I can't find them any- what's this?" Alyssa asked, picking up a piece of paper off of the table. "Dear Alyssa... we've gone to a friend's house for tea. Be back tomorrow... Grandpa... I've been worrying for nothing!" Alyssa muttered as she read the note.

"Maybe it's because I didn't go running away screaming from him. He may be made of bones but I'm sure he still has animal instincts in him. If I approach quickly then he act in defense, if I run away then he act as a predator chasing prey... well it's either that or I have a knack with animals... I've never been bitten or scratched." Din explained, keeping her dark red eyes on Bone Dancer, he was sweet. She doubted he wouldn't attack anyone.
Silver froze when he said this, her heart quickened in pace. "What... happened Arious" She asked slowly. If one of those Shadows had even dared... of even thinking... Oh.. she would be... she'd make sure they never walked in light again. "Arious... what... happen..." She asked in a even calmer tone, which was even more frightening than if she was screaming at him. Her eyes flashed red, feeling anger consume her slowly.
Opal looked at Vaati, wanting to reach out and comfort him. But, she felt something hold her back. Was it because she didn't want him to feel like she was pitying him... no... it was out of fear. Something was fighting with Vaati, and she was afraid of him lashing out at her. But, she quickly swallowed that fear, turning to Vaati, taking his hand.

Zathier chuckled as a smiled etched its way across his face. "Looks like it." He gave a sigh of relief. He thought that something might have happened, but they were just out. "So, what do we do now?" He asked curiously. Zathier and Alyssa had planned to talk to the old couple and keep them from noticing Alyssa's shaken appearance. But now that they were gone, there was nothing else to do, except go to Alyssa's room.
