On the topic of new years: I actually didn't drink a drop of alcohol. Instead I spent it wandering the main drag of my hometown with my dad...and getting yelled at for walking into the street. ><;
The best part was this one guy who had so much to drink all he did was stand at this one corner screaming obscenities. It was awesome...

Wyrn I tried to message you back around 9:10 but I could not find you on zOMG. You really need to tell us what server you are on. Oh, sorry, I was kind of figuring someone would just post in here and we'd work it out then, that's how I generally hook up with people when I'm doing things online. That, and I kind of gave up and went to watch a movie and forgot to come back sweatdrop As for my new years, I spent it the same way I spent last new years - sitting alone in the living room watching whatever marathon was on (Dr.Who this year, which was lovely actually :'D) drinking a martini by myself since everyone else in my family had gone to bed. I was SUPPOSED to spend it with my boyfriend but it didn't work out. It was depressing emo

No worries.
Most of us usually post which server we are on and if anyone else is on and wants to join we generally send a whisper over to get together in game.

Geh, I've got a reading headache D|
I finished three books today, lol. Nothing super special, they're waaaaay below my reading level, but it's a series I started reading in middle school and just recently found out the author FINALLY completed it like, last year because the 4th and final book is only available in hard cover so I only ordered the 3rd, but it's been so long that I got out the first two and blitzed through them this morning/afternoon before tackling the third one.
I'm still amazed at how such a simple kids story can still move me.

What books are you reading? Would you by any chance be into writers?

/logs off of Buzz Saw because she got bored and no one wanted to do KKD on her layer
Well, the series I was talking about is the Unicorn Chronicles by Bruce Coville. I'm not sure what you mean by into writers - I tend to go more by subject matter than by author, though I have to say there isn't much by Sharon Shin that I haven't read and nothing that I've read that I disliked. She's possibly the only author that I'd look up to see what she has out to read sight unseen as it were.
Her, and J.K. of course, even IF I felt like the HP series ended on a whimper. Book 6 doesn't exist to me, not really >_>

I read below my reading level multiple times. So many authors from my childhood that I loved and must read their new works even though I have outgrown them. Luckily most are just Young Adult so it does not appear too weird when I read them.
I'm on the east coast down in Florida. But I mostly work nights and weekends so I tend to stay up later.
