She reached up and scratched her head in frustration but remained silent. She was having a rough day, in general, and now she was being told that the fearsome leader of the Den'nali clan held claim to her. Awesome... She thought to herself.*

Maya leaned to look at Lady's tail. "You have a tail?" she asked astounded. "I didn't know that.. And I thought your mother was an angel?"

She smiled at Alice and makes a small bird out of the shadows and gives it a cookie sending it over to Alice "At least all you have is the Den'nali Clan after you. One pureblood clan is easy as long as your here. Most Clan's even purebloods will not mess with this Clan do to the close connection to the Council. Though The Den'nali are more hardheaded than most." She smiled at Maya "My Mother was a half-breed, Her mother was an Angel and her Father was a wolf demon. And illegal mix that got my Grandparents killed when their families found out about my Mother. I was around 5 when they were executed. They let my Mother live because she was no more than a Doll by that time. Her mind did not survive the turn, her sanity was testy even when she was her normal self. Her mind broke completely when my Father turned her."

*She accepted the cookie graciously and took a bite. When she felt a little better she spoke.* I know I am still lucky. It's just that I'm still getting used to having friends for once and now I am owned and I am learning about all sorts of relationships. It's just a little overwhelming. I'm getting better though. You have to admit it. I didn't even cry this time.

She looked at Dreiyan "Its interesting to see one so young interested in Crystal work. Its been a dead art for a while now." She finished the last cookie and the bag disappeared being replaced by a cigarette which she lit and took a drag off of

"Aww, so it really is a dead art? No wonder I couldn't find anyone who even knew or much less cared about it..." *looks at his hands* "Crystal working was the single ability I had as a human, although a very crude ability at the time. As I changed to Lycan, Vamp, then became bonded with Zalurin my skill with it increased. Now I can use it in almost anything I want...except for making constructs, im still fixing the bugs in that project"

She looked at Dreiyan "It died out well over two centuries ago for vampires to use. It does not lead to enough power for most to bother learning it." She smiled at Maya "Do not worry, that was thousands of years ago. And I did not care for my grandparents that much, they exiled my Mother and me for being half breeds instead of killing us. My Father had too much protection on us."

"Not learning it for power, although I can use it to an extent in battle. I'm an artist and inventor, there are quite alot of things you can use crystals for."

She moves and a small dagger shows up in her hand. She twirls it though her fingers never really paying attention to it and never once hitting herself with the blade. She stopped twirling it holding it by the blade, along the hilt were small pale pink rubies and at the top build into the top of the hilt was a large peice of rainbow obsidian "3 thousand years old." She threw it acrossed the room into the wall acrossed from her. "Made it in India."

"Quite an interesting piece of work. Must have caught a few eyes back then." *eyes examining the gems in the hilt* "Dangerous enough by itself but applied with the proper crystal magics, which I think may have been used on this before, it's possibly more deadly than meets the eye." *gently coaxes the blade from it's position in the wall and floats it back across to Lady*

*She leaned into Jinx, apparently growing more comfortable with personal contact. She spoke to Lady and Dreiyan, though.* It really is fascinating, all of the things one can do with crystals. I had no idea. That is a lovely dagger, Lady.*She reached up and played with a piece of her hair absentmindedly.*
