"He had to take care of a few things. He'll be back sweety." He smiled softly at her. "Rin? Say something?"
He came back to the house and went to the bathroom to clean up and then to his room to change.
"Who said anything about talking?" She stepped back up to him.
"You okay E?"

he did a few fancy foot steps with the ball "and they say I'm not good" he laughed, avoiding his cousins question
she bit her lip a little and moved next to her daughter, lifting her head in to her lap "sweetie... Daddy's gonna be back down..." she stroked her daughters head but couldn't say anything else, she never thought that her daughter would go out and do something like that
she nodded and closed her eyes, snuggling in to her mother
"what are you doing Deb?" he pulled away from her and looked at her "I'm not like the rest of the male population of this school... I'm not looking to get in you're pants or anything and I don't want you getting in mine..."

She stood there, shocked and a little hurt. She looked at the ground not sure what to say. Not ones really ever been that blunt with her.
He came back down in jeans and a tee. "How is she?" He whispered coming up behind them.
"Yeah no kidding. Where have you been hiding the talent?" He asked, amazed at the foot work.

he laughed a little "when Alex comes around... I get all clammed up and stumble a lot..." he kicked the ball over to his cousin and ran after it. He stopped and shrugged a little when he got there "just part of my charm" he laughed again
"I think she's asleep" she whispered up to him
"daddy..." she said weakly and reached up for him "daddy... I didn't mean it... I... didn't want to... I couldn't stop..."
he stood up and grabbed his bag "sorry Deb... if I knew that's what you wanted I wouldn't have agreed to meet you out here..." and he headed back inside to be with his band friends

"Shhhhh.... I know you did..... just sleep." He took her hand and kissed the back of it. "We need to get her help Rin.." He whispered to her.
"No Ryan!" She called after him.
He stopped the ball. "Well it looks like you just need to declam." He smiled.
"Hey guys.... Hows the soccer star doing." Alex said joking around as he came to the field.

he blushed lightly and leaned over to his cousin "should... I tell him?" he whispered
she nodded slowly as tears pooled in her eyes "can you... carry her?" she chocked out
she fell asleep
he turned back to her "yeah?"

"I.... I'm sorry..."she tried not to show the tears that threatened to spill over as she caught up to him. "I like you... really like you... I just don't know how else to......" She couldn't find the right words.
He turned her head so she was looking at him, "I know its hard baby.... I don't want to do it either." He kissed her forehead and hugged her a little.
"Not just yet." He whispered back.
"What are you two going on about?" He said walking up to them. "How the practice going?"
"Its good. wanna join in for a little kick around?"
"Sure." He smiled.

"sure you can... just relax." He smiled
"You two gonna quit yacking like old ladies or should I let you go on with your knitting circle?" He said as he picked a spot on the field and started bouncing the ball around as he waited for them.
He took his daughter from her.
"Its okay... I'm used to be cast off..." she wiped her eyes. "I was stupid thinking you'd want me anyway. I'll just leave you alone." He walked off back towards the dug outs.
"The police are on their way...." she said softly coming back in the living room from the hall.

she sat there, tears streaming down her cheeks "go.. with her.."
he nodded and ran over to Alex. He used his knees to get the ball away from him and started to kick the ball down the field
he took her hand and pulled her back to him.

"What?" she said softly trying not to cry.
He chased him trying to get back the ball.
"Wooo Go E!" He cheered on his cousin.
"We don't have to take her there now Rin....." He was stopped by Erin.
"Take her up stairs for now Kent... stay with her." She left him and sat next to her sister and rubbed her back.

she curled up and hugged her knees, crying a little more
he moved her hair out of her eyes and leaned in, kissing her softly
he smiled and laughed as he kicked the ball behind him and used more fancy foot work before kicking it in to the goal. After that he tripped

Alex was busy watching his foot work to see where he was going. He tripped of Euclid, pretty much landing on him. He groaned, "Sorry about that... " He stood and held out a hand, "that was some impressive foot work man. where did you learn that?"
She was surprised by the move. She didn't know how to react to it.
she pulled her sister close and let her cry.
He took her up stairs and too her room, where he put her to bed. He sat down next to her. He put his face in his hands and then ran his hands through his hair. He didn't know what to do. He wasn't sure how to handle things.
