Skaeryll Have there ever been rpgs where you level up the weapons and magic instead of the party members other than FF2? is the only one I remember right now. Although, the main character also leveled up, but he wasn't actually fighting.

Skaeryll Have there ever been rpgs where you level up the weapons and magic instead of the party members other than FF2? For some reason it feels like a familiar concept, but I can't think of any straight RPGs that did it offhand. I know Dark Cloud does, but it's more of a dungeon crawler than an RPG.

Skaeryll Have there ever been rpgs where you level up the weapons and magic instead of the party members other than FF2? There's an iOS game that levels up your character and then with money you can level up their items, but it's not really leveling up, it's just moving from like, the 6th best item to the 5th best item. And it's not really a Final Fantasy style RPG, it's more of an action RPG.
