One of my housemates just turned 21 today. He staggared in a little while ago totally wasted. It's kind of funny to watch him ramble on and sway and such. Good fun.

Anyone who got the survey should post it in a new thread in the guild so we can have some fun with it.

Shoujo Phoenix HILARY. I miss you sad Are you home at all between the time you get back from Japan and the time you go back to Chico? Seriously, unfortunately no. I get back in the states on the 17th, but we arrive in San Francisco and are going straight back to Chico. I wish I could come home again, but I'm afraid even if I did, it could only be for one or two days, which wouldn't really justify the extra drive. I miss you too, so much! I haven't seen you since August! sad heart

hollywood_addict hilaroma hollywood_addict hilaroma hollywood_addict It's crazy.. I just got a cellphone and plan (really slow with technology). I just figured out by going on the internet over computer (I don't get how to do Nokia/Virgin Mobile on the actual cell phone) and now I need to learn how to do voice mail. I'm a huge "Without a Paddle" movie fan, and some buddies of mine at my previous college nicknamed me after Seth Green's character.. so now, I'm thinking I'm a huge film nerd as we have the same ringtone for the phone: Raiders of the Lost Ark... Anyway, I really don't know about paying like $30 a month... anyone know if money can carry over if I don't use it? It varies from company to company, so what cell company are you using? Virgin Mobile.. Akimbo-san recommended it to me, and my mother's been talking about getting me a new cell... the one I was using one cannot see anything on the screen, so one must guess what is being pressed and the reception just started going mad, so we got a new one so she can keep tabs on me... Some parents who need to know where kids are... oi..I have Virgin Mobile too and it's not too bad. I know it has like...3 options or something, but I'm on the original one where I pay a certain amount for each minute, but only have to add $20 every three months to keep my number active. I end up paying about twice that for three months though. I guess you just have to figure out what works best for you. =) I'm currently doing the per day plan, but watashi no okaasan/my mother and I weren't sure which was cheapest? Paying monthly or daily? Surprisingly, I think today I used like 40 minutes... I don't have to pay monthly though...I'm not sure how it works. I guess for you, it depends on how much you use the phone each day, then figure out which method would be cheaper. I'm not very good at reasoning these things out though. sweatdrop

hollywood_addict I hope it's better than the textbook looks. Akimbo-san and I are taking it together in hopes that both our efforts and study habits will equal good grades.. how come it's only on the university level that research is done? Is it a presidential bias again? Hopefully it'll go well for the both of you. heart Mostly a funding issue. Good studies cost up into the millions of dollars, and there just isn't the same money in animal medicine.

Little Indigo If it's a flip phone, then it's almost guaranteed to have a clock and Alarm function.
My old alarm clock broke, so I've been using my cell phone instead. I should really tell my mother to take me to IKEA so I can get another one. My old one was the kind that you wound up to power it, and it rang really loudly which made me love it even more. It still moves now, but it doesn't ring and I haven't the foggiest idea why. I even took it apart to try an fix it, which I kind of did, but I ended up screwing up the turning knob for the alarm. crying Yeah, it is a flippy-phone. And I know it has a clock, unlike my old one. So I bet it does have an alarm. Except that I forgot it at work. Again. sweatdrop When I'm not on call, that phone is dead to me. Cat woke me up this morning; will have to bring the phone home today and try that out, though, as reliable as the cat's appetite may be...

Zelo Omega Something I thought of in an AG chat last night. We clutter up our avatars to look like we're Katamaris, then put all the avatars together so it looks like a giant Katamari. ... I missed AG chat. crying
