Dr. Fomite hollywood_addict That's really interesting stuff! Is there a lot of environmental research being done on pets or is it more recent? I'm actually enrolled for this spring term in college for a chemicals in environment course.. I imagine that we'll be doing a paper about something... that may just be fun to start researching while I have a few more weeks off.. There's a decent amount of research being done, although most of it is on a pretty small scale, usually done in the university setting. Unfortunately, there just isn't the money in veterinary medicine there is in human medicine, so not as much gets done. Sounds like a challenging course; hopefully it'll be a good experience. heart I hope it's better than the textbook looks. Akimbo-san and I are taking it together in hopes that both our efforts and study habits will equal good grades.. how come it's only on the university level that research is done? Is it a presidential bias again?

hollywood_addict Akimbo I gotta go now. I have a funny story for you, but I guess Nikoru-san can tell you guys later, since she was over to see it happen. Anywho, time to finish birthday cake. I miss you guys, hopefully I'll get interweb soon so that I can be around more often. crying I'm not sure when Akimbo-san will be back, so I promised to relate a story. It was BartholmeHiscussNelson's 20th b-day today, but since I worked down in the parking booth again today, we decided to try to make something cheap for a gift from both of us. We bought a card at Wal-mart (I too hope she doesn't go back there... I'm working on helping her go apply at our mall in Wisconsin and Minnesota.. -Cake- The cake is possessed by a demon, we need Inuyasha.

Dr. Fomite Little Indigo Dr. Fomite My alarm clock is broken. crying I don't want to go to the store to get a new one. It'll either be my whole lunch break walking down to Walmart, or else I can do it in the dark after work. Damn you, alarm clock. Use your cell phone as an alarm clock, that is, if you have one...
If all else fails, use the sun as your clock. mrgreen Somebody at work suggested this, too. I never would've thought of it. sweatdrop But, then, my old cell didn't even have a clock, let alone an alarm. I bet this one does. Except I forgot it at work, so I'm not sure... But I'll probably go in again tonight to pick it up and see. sweatdrop If it's a flip phone, then it's almost guaranteed to have a clock and Alarm function.
My old alarm clock broke, so I've been using my cell phone instead. I should really tell my mother to take me to IKEA so I can get another one. My old one was the kind that you wound up to power it, and it rang really loudly which made me love it even more. It still moves now, but it doesn't ring and I haven't the foggiest idea why. I even took it apart to try an fix it, which I kind of did, but I ended up screwing up the turning knob for the alarm. crying

hilaroma hollywood_addict hilaroma hollywood_addict It's crazy.. I just got a cellphone and plan (really slow with technology). I just figured out by going on the internet over computer (I don't get how to do Nokia/Virgin Mobile on the actual cell phone) and now I need to learn how to do voice mail. I'm a huge "Without a Paddle" movie fan, and some buddies of mine at my previous college nicknamed me after Seth Green's character.. so now, I'm thinking I'm a huge film nerd as we have the same ringtone for the phone: Raiders of the Lost Ark... Anyway, I really don't know about paying like $30 a month... anyone know if money can carry over if I don't use it? It varies from company to company, so what cell company are you using? Virgin Mobile.. Akimbo-san recommended it to me, and my mother's been talking about getting me a new cell... the one I was using one cannot see anything on the screen, so one must guess what is being pressed and the reception just started going mad, so we got a new one so she can keep tabs on me... Some parents who need to know where kids are... oi..I have Virgin Mobile too and it's not too bad. I know it has like...3 options or something, but I'm on the original one where I pay a certain amount for each minute, but only have to add $20 every three months to keep my number active. I end up paying about twice that for three months though. I guess you just have to figure out what works best for you. =) I'm currently doing the per day plan, but watashi no okaasan/my mother and I weren't sure which was cheapest? Paying monthly or daily? Surprisingly, I think today I used like 40 minutes...

Be wary of wandering gators, amputations, mods, and random fashion abuses and you'll do fine here. xd Now that I think about it, the Wandering Monster table for the Anti-Guild would be rather amusing to draw up, wouldn't it? xd Anti-Guild Katamari! scream What's Anti-Guild Katamari?

Generally as I'm technology-illeterate, I'll figure out just how to set the alarm, and will really need to wake up in order how to figure out how to make the alarm shut up.. but they're also good if you dislike mornings.. I have now 5 alarms (including new cellphone) that will go off every 3 minutes to ensure I'm up at 7am every day starting 23rd Jan for school..
