We purchased eggnog and some alcohol. That's about it in the food department. We did learn no one is touching the fruity eggnog, white lighting/jack Daniels is definitely a nasty mix in eggnog, and spicy rum leads to burning of the throat and tasting eggnog up your nose if it's not mixed right.
Next year, I think I'll see about purchasing the pre-mixed version.

I would imagine Vodka + eggnog would taste good. Any opinions on that theory?
Kahlua's nice, but I feel that stuff needs to be mixed. I tried adding milk to that, and it just eliminated the taste of the alcohol... It's like I'm sipping something from Starbucks.

I could test the Eggnog-vodka theory, but I think it was finished off. The Eggnog part anyway. I'm hoping to purchase Jack Danial fruit punch in the near future though.

Not exactly piss drunk, but did partake in some alcoholic beverages yes. And I find Jack Daniels kinda gross, X. Bought a small bottle to try, and it did not go down easy...

I didn't get piss-drunk, either. I did, however, watch two and a half movies and the Christmas episode of The Office for the 5th time in my life. :3

I didn't get drunk myself. I drank until I was buzzed and continued to drink to maintain that buzz.

Jack Daniels isn't for everyone, and but impress a number of people who find out you can drink it. They have some intriguing flavors out in the smaller bottles that are good though.
I actually used it against an negligent mother when the implied rule was 'those not drinking mind the children'..and she had a bottle in her hand herself. When everyone but the children had a bottle, she was directly responsible and she didn't impose that rule again.
I was working that night, but I did celebrate with sweet bread.

Happy new years, wanderers! hope it was fab for all of you.
It was a little boring for me... I live in a new house now, in that kind of neighborhood you're not allowed to make noise in after 8:00... otherwise I would have been outside in my undies, banging pots together and whatnot!

I was at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World. Unfortunately the Park is dry or i would have had my own fix of alcohol. I made do with staying up until 5 in the morning.

 I also had a dry New Years (sparkling apple cider anyone?) but there was some great dancing and dangerous driving, so all around a great new years. Happy Belated Birthday X!
