Katherine was not so far away when she herd the noise. She watched confused for a moment they were leaveing, taking the children somewhere safe she was almost sure of that, she sat there for a moment judgeing if it was a smart idea to go over and speak to Sekain or not.. she would never get behind the reason if his coldness with her if she did not; bust just as well she didn't want to be.. She stood finding the first reason more important than her heart, personal feelings had always gotten the best of her. Now knowing for sure Asami had been dead,Aisis was lieing to her for some reason.. yes she felt heart broken maybe even alittle more than that. "Sekain?" She spoke walking towards him. Maybe it was how much she looked like him and illomeania.. she at least could understand that.

He turned to Katherine and smiled "hello, I'm sorry for disturbing your rest and grilling you this mor-" he began before Matilda interupted him "HIYA!" she smiled waving at her from between his arms. "ning" he chuckled finishing off as she glanced up to him as he put a finger to his lips signaling her to shh.

She gave a slight smile but nothing much more than that to the girl and looked back to Sekain. "I am glad you did." Wake her she meant. "Off to a safer place?" She shouldn't have been so nosy but it was something that truely could not be helped at times.

Matilda nodded and waved as Khan ran up and Mounted his horse and Matilda was distracted by her brother, "Yes, Nikura and Aenu wouldn't wish their children to be here in this current climate" he said turning to hand Khan his bag, "plus they found daddy" matilda said excitedly, Sekain looked to her again and put his finger to his lips again "shh" he repeated light heartedly, before turning to Katherine again "I'm only dropping them off to Aenu."

She started to nod he hadn't wanted her to know that. She knew why now to her purple eyes watched his steadly. "He is at Flowing Rivers?" Did he truly even need to answear that she thought she knew all ready he was and that was that, still she watched Sekain closely..

He smiled "no it'd be stupid for me to go to Flowing Rivers with Aldon knowing my alleigance is with you, Aenu's in the forest, and with Matachi's forest 'guard' about I'd rather take them to him myself, to cut out any mistakes made by a middle man" he smiled a calm sincerity about him.

She looked reliefed all at once.. Then she glanced around. "May i go with you then, i believe it has been many months since i was able to ride out anywhere." That was the truth everytime she did something seemed to happen.. or thats how it was but between them they would be okay. They knew that. She would understand however if he said know and thought that most likely to start with.

He nodded sure, it'd be good to have a horse on the way back as I was going to pass this one on to Aenu and come back in element but I could saddle up with you right?"

She gave a warm smile with a nod and left towards the stables. She came back on top of a small bay who seemed very ready to run. He was a gilding and although small he was very fast. It was her usual horse, despite his will to bolt she seemed to handle him well letting him walk alongside of them. She was quite for a very long while as she even placed the reins under her leg and ran her hands through her hair. "I truely have not been away in at least 6 months."

"Then it seems as though you're over due for a play" Khan smiled glancing to Sekain with a cheeky grin as they all set off into the town "You want to race the queen?" he chuckled glancing down to Matilda who giggled and clapped.

When they rode through town she tried to keep her head down as much as possiable though it was hard not to know who the two of them were together, "When we get in the forest that sounds like a good idea, I must warn you.." She said with a playful grin to the children. "I am quite fast."

He chuckled as he rode along side Sekain and Matilda with Katherine on the other side of them "So am I" he smirked as Matilda jumped with excitement that she'd watch her brother race and see her daddy again.

When they made it into town Katherine flashed him a smile as she picked back up the reins from under her leg and gave a slight kick to the horse as he started to move, he did move quick the horse. She had been his only rider for a long time and he and she moved well together. His footing was seemless.

He turned to Sekain with pleading eyes and he nodded and he continued at the pace he was at before "I'll let you get a head start seeing as you're an older lady" he smiled playfully as Sekain chuckled briefly.
