I just finished Puzzle Quest on my PSP and now I'm staring at it and thinking, "Buy another game or E-bay?"
Jen: At least the goodies will be available on the MP. :3 Halloween is such a big event that there's sure to be buttloads of mules snatching up extras, and a flood of items generally means low prices. And perhaps peeps here will have extras that you can have for free. That's another trend in this loving-hearted little guild of ours. X3
*towels off Vin and cuddles Lucca and Eve* Aigh...cancer. Such a frightening word. Modern medicine is wonderful, though. I hope your friend comes through this all right Eve.

Man, dealing with whites in edits is so annoying. crying
Meri, how do you do them usually? I know you say you do more shadows than highlights but...the only way I can think of doing that is drawing the object entirely white and then burning the edges or the shadowed parts. crying Airbrushing leads me to highlight instead.
Plus converting whites to be colored is annoying as well. crying The colors look too flat when I do them...

Malee Cardi, just because UV never used it doesn't mean that you won't. I have used my PSP plenty of times, I like it, good for long trips. It is all about the person what what you will use it for. yush, that's what i figured 3nodding . i'm pretty much all about the game, and the game in this case being final fantasy.
@vin: yush, please let me know how the psp works out for you heart .
@sunny: i'm liking the ds too 3nodding . there seems to be a lot of good games for it.

Taylor: I pixel in black, paintbucket it to white, then start shading using either a grey or desaturated blue palette with a 1-pixel airbrush as usual. I never use Dodge or Burn except as a final touch to hair. And no, converting white to color wouldn't work out well because there would be no highlights.

For shading white, I usual pixel in black or a dark colour, fill to white or a pale grey, and then use dodge and burn to do my shadows & highlights, with a bit of the paintbrush for larger areas or if none of the various dodge & burn settings get the colour quite right.
I'm so ashamed that I used dodge and burn to shade my edits, but what can I say - it just works so well and I get the results I want. rofl xd But I would never advocate using those tools for shading anything else ever.

I have the first box, I think. And then my net crapped out on me.
-edit- Yeah, I got the pants first. X-D; I guess the dev team is going to give us pants first because of the year of pants.

The items are given out in a random order. surprised
I can't speak for edit creation, but dodge and burn are helpful in various other art creation + web design. xd

Unknown Variable I can't speak for edit creation, but dodge and burn are helpful in various other art creation + web design. xd I like dodge and burn for touching up photos and fixing contrast in specific areas in other art, but normally the idea of shading a whole piece with almost nothing but dodge and burn makes me gonk gonk gonk ... cause that's just not what the tools were designed for and it generally makes for crappy looking shading. But working really small it seems to work. Damnit - I wish I wasn't at work - I have a really strong urge to do some hair edits but I can't.
