It's beautiful outside...I took a walk around, went to the mall, etc.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) I'm broke. So I wasn't able to buy anything.
However, I did retrieve my copy of disgaea from the friend who was borrowing it. Hoorah for selling my soul to Atlus! I may disappear for about a week or two, but don't worry...um, I'll be back [/obsessed]
In other news, My GPA is now a 3.214, so joy and happiness. My acceptance to UCSC is almost guaranteed (emphasis on the almost). I also need to work on my scholarship application and get a couple letters of recommendation.
Hollywood: I'm an english major with an emphasis in world literature and creative writing. I'm attending west valley college to complete my general education, and hoping to transfer to UC Santa Cruz (Where Zelyhon goes as well, we're friends from high school) where I will pursue a P.h.D in English in order to become an English professor at a University. On the side I hope to publish a novel at some point, my favorite genres to write for are Fantasy and Science Fiction. I've gone through the process of pitching a story for my first edition of The Redeemed, but wasn't accepted. I'm doing an overhaul on the story and will try again soon.
Um, yeah. That's about it for now. I'll be around all day.

Zelyhon Free? Cool. How'd you manage that? Any job prospects at this point? I visited some booth at the mall about wireless interweb and signed up to have them come over and show me how it would work out in my apartment. Guy came over and gave it to me, apparently I won some drawing they were having. My job search is sucking..I can't find a job anywhere. crying

I visited some booth at the mall about wireless interweb and signed up to have them come over and show me how it would work out in my apartment. Guy came over and gave it to me, apparently I won some drawing they were having. My job search is sucking..I can't find a job anywhere. crying Well, I hope you find something soon. >_<

So do you have wireless in your apartment now too? Join the club. crying Oh, and FFG's post actually reminded me of something you guys ought to find amusing. Classes here have started again and one class I'm in is Foundations of Game Design. The class itself is awesome (we have to make two games, one non-video game and one video game as well as evaluating two games of our choice for their merits and flaws)., but the first day of class was hilarious. We were sitting around, waiting for the Professor to start when, suddenly, on the projector screen, Legend of Zelda begins playing. The class goes nuts and, after making sure it's hooked up properly, the professor asks for a volunteer. Said volunteer (not me, unfortunately) goes up and proceedes to play Zelda for the first half of class while we discuss the game and why it's so awesome even today, with it not being cutting edge. Awesome first day of class. xd
