Sephriea attemped to move away, but her small frame wasn't quite as fast as everyne elses. She was still a kid, no matter how mature she tried to act when it came to battles. She dropped to the ground, braceing herself for the strange tainted mako to hit her.
(( What would that do? ))

...The mako enveloped the girl and suddenly hardened, encasing her within. It was siphoning away her energy and suffocating her...

(( Lol. Poor Cloud.. He's failing to protect all these kids and Aerith!))
Cloud rushed forward, at first hitting his fist into the hard surface of the mako that encased Sephriea inside it. "No.." Everything was bearing down on him, He was..right..That day he spoke with Tifa. He told her he couldn't protect anyone, not anyone.Those words seemed to be strikingly true at the current moment. The boy had been badly hurt, Sephriea was trapped inside some sort of mako, and Aerith was out cold..
The only thing he could think of doing now, was slamming his weapon into the hard casing, hoping it would break, but careful not enough to hit her if it did.
While he was trying to save Sephriea, he saw Asgard appear near the boy again. "Get away from him!" Cloud ran over to him, grabbing his arm and attempting to punch Asgard in the face to make him release his hold on the boy.

...*How stupid this man is!* she thought. She attempted to teleport his body out of the way, but Asgard finally got a mild grip on his mind. "NO, I wOn'T LEt YoU!!!!!" The destination was changed to right above the pool of holy water. As soon as he hit the surface of the water, she was expelled from his body and the connection was severed, for at the very least a week. From the constant strain Jenova had put on his body he passed out. As soon as he lost contiousness all of the mako in the room melted and seeped into the ground, freeing Sephirea...
(Got to go. Please keep Cloud from gutting me in my sleep. 0.0 )

(( Muahaha... *Thinks about that for a moment.* Stab stab stab! ))
Cloud's eyes did not soften, not in the slightest bit. Full of anger and pain as he looked around him. Little Haseo was passed out, badly injured, Sephriea was close to joining him as her life energy was unknowingly to him drawn out from her, And Aerith was still where he left her. He began to think about what they had done, was it really the best idea to allow the little kitsune to stay with them? Danger would only follow him if he was with them. But then, he would not be safe alone regardless..
Sighing heavily, Cloud gathers up another healing spell, casting a Full Cure on the boy. He then hurried over to Sephriea, scooping up the girl in his arms, who appeared to be weakened. "I'm sorry..." He said, his voice soft. He had felt terrible, but par of him knew it was not his fault. No one could have stopped him, not with all the powers he seemed to possess and added with Jenova's own control. He walked over to where he had placed Aerith, and lowered the girl to rest against the wall before he took the Cetra into his arms. Asgard was going to pay for this, he didn't care that it wasn't truly him, he would never get this close to Aerith or them again. As he held her in his arms, flash backs of that time ran through his mind. He saw himself lowering her lifeless body into the depths of the deep waters of the Forgotten Capital.Then his mind snapped back to reality. She was once again almost lifeless in his arms, Clouds eyes turning glass like as tears fought there way from falling. "Am I really just a....failure?"

Aerith's emerald green eyes slowly opened as they came to rest on Clouds own eyes. She imeditly saw the sadness and pain in them. Not only that, but she saw the dried blood on his forhead that trailed down his face."Cloud..!" She ignored the throbbing pain where she had been hit as he reached up and embraced him into a gentle hug.She hated seeing him with those eyes.."What..happend?"
As she pulled away from him, Aerith saw Sephriea next to her. The girl was awake, but obvious signs of weakness showed strongly in the girl.. "Sephriea?? " All she had remmebred was Asgard being taken controle of, never would she have thought he was that powerful.. "Cloud? Please don't blame you'reself for this..If Jenova was involved, you know it would not be easy to protect everyone by you'reself. " The cetra sighed softly, getting herself to stand. Quickly gathering up a Cure3, she sent the spell to Cloud. It was obvious he was so worried about everyone else, he had never taken care of himself at all. "Where is Haseo and Asgard?" She asked softly, hugging Cloud again, hoping his heart would become lighter.

Cloud gently returned the embrace, not wanting to let her go. It seemed like no matter how much he attempted to protect everyone something would always happen.This thought lingered in his mind for a few moments when Aerith's voice broke his wandering mind. "The boy, Haseo was badly injured. Not even I could stop him..Jenova took him over completely. Sephriea was encased by something that looked to be a tainted form of Mako. It seemed to act as though it was taking her energy away..."
Asgard. His eyes narrowed as she mentioned his very name. "Stay here." Without another word, he let Aerith go from the embrace and walked to the back of the church. There he saw Asgards uncontentious form.In seconds, Cloud had him by the collar and lifted him up harshly.
No..This wasn't him. He couldn't..
Cloud shook his head, throwing the man down before casting a exit materia on him. He had hoped he would end up far, Far away. "Never come back." He turned and walked off back to Aerith. "Get Sephriea, I'll take Haseo. Let's get back to the house.."
Cloud then headed over to the boy, gently picking him up. He didn't have to worry about hurting him anymore, as the Full Cure would have healed his injuries, like the broken bones the poor thing sustained from being thrown so hard. He picked the child up in his arms, while Aerith picked up her daughter and the two hurried out of the church, heading off to Aerith's home.

Haseo felt safer even in his unconsciousness being held almost removed all his fear. The kitsune wrapped his arms around cloud as best he could followed by his tail as well. he remained still and quiet in his torn and blood stained top holding onto cloud.
Alkaid was standing outside aerith's home about to knock again when she turned around she could see the four of them have been fighting, she felt her gut sink thinking this was all because of her. as they got closer she looked at the children she felt she should leave but didn't. she opened the door for them stepping aside. hopping she could be of some use but was to scared to ask now.

Cloud blinked down at the young boy in his arms. For the first time since that battle, he managed a faint smile. He could sense the child seemed to be comfortable in his arms. As they approached, he noticed Alkaid there at the door holding the door open for them. He nodded her a thanks before walking inside and sitting down on the sofa, still holding little Haseo in his arms. "Thank you, Alkaid. Are you alright? Did anyone come by here? "
Aerith followed in after Cloud, Sitting down beside Cloud in the sofa with Sephriea in her arms, The two looked like a little family sitting together on the sofa, it would have been a sweet scene if it wasn't for the blood stains on the child, and Cloud.

While they flew on there way to Midgar she thought about striking up a friendly conversation with Arcene. They had nothing better to do, so why not? She loved talking to people after all.It made her feel alive. "You know, I wish that tear thing would stay open in one way so that I could go back to my home, but come back here when ever I wanted too.I would love to show you Alexandra! " It probably wasn't quite his style, but she would have thrown him a special party, and a royal welcoming, along with a great feast.

Arcene's eyes stayed on his instrument's as he flew, although he was paying attention to Garnet. "It would be nice if it did stay locked to one place." He says. Not mentioning that wasnt the way of many of those things, how only a few like that had ever ended up established, most just opened, spit crap out, then vanished again.

(( Lol. Ahh. Kittens following the mouse pointer again. XD And watching the letters come onto the screen as I type and trying to paw at them omg. *Dies laughing* *Goes to sleep!* ))
"Do you know how long that has been open for? I wonder how long it will stay like that..And what else kind of creatures might come through it.." She thought about it, trying not to sound to gloomy on the subject.

(Asgard was unconscious, so I'll say he didn't hear Cloud's threat.)
...Asgard woke floating of the surface of the water. *Is she?... Yes, shes gone.* He breathed a sigh of relief and swam to the edge. Every joint and muscle in his body was in incredible pain and he no longer had any MP to teleport himself back to the house. He surveyed the church and noticed blood, new holes in the walls and floor, and traces of what seemed to be mako. He picked up the materia that Haseo had thrown at him. Everything after the child had chucked this at him was a blur. Asgard began walking back home...

Gray woke up in the church his body sore from sleeping on the floor as he wanted to be close to the flowers and there calming feeling.
Gray gets up and looks around at the empty church he smiles sadly and decides to leave the church and head towards the slums stores to pick up some items.
