Mari nodded "I think I understand but I'm wondering how you know them so well, I mean us Viera have a certain sense about animals but I don't think it's on the same level as you and these unicorns" she sighed remembering she hadn't mastered the animal sense yet.
Oassu blushed "Well um thanks they would be odd little elves running off to school with their orange hair" he chuckled picturing it "Just so long as nobody tries to bully them or anything" he said watching Silverkin pad about the other side of the clearing trying to find the doll in the bushes.
Itaka shook his head "Not even sitting behind him, and his bike is designed to have a sidecar though I'm sure if he wanted he could probably get it modified to have one but that would just slow it down you know" he said taking the apple from Seph's mouth so she could chew her bites before letting her take another bite.
Zadina smiled sweetly patting Amane's shoulder "Don't worry Amane I was only teasing I just think it's very interesting thats all" he reassured her turning back to help Ardie with her bags "You don't need one of those, those are for old or lazy people I can help you" he said casting float on one or two bags so Ardie could carry them easier.

Seph smiled at Itaka thankful he took the apple from her "Mmm thanks for the help. Still thats a little sucky if you have to go on missions or anything with hi that require sticking together. I mean Sure Jenna has Boco but without him she and Gil would have really struggled to keep up with the bike. Heh crazy men and their stupid machines" she added under her breath taking another bite.
Hebal nodded her head in agreement taking a step back sensing Loyalar was starting to feel a little uncomfortable and fidgity "No no it's definitely not the same, she seems to know exactly what the unicorns are trying to say to her where as all I get is an indication as to what sort of mood or emotion I am feeling. Like Loyalar is a little unsure about having too many people near her baby for too long."
Ardie let out a sigh of relief skipping up the rest of the stairs "Ahh thats really nice of you Zadina thank you. My bag contains lots of heavy toys plus loads of yummy foods and drinks making it hard to carry. Plus my scooter is in there which helped me get here so fast"
Melanae rolled her eyes racing the second bag up the stairs "Ardie... how many times do we have to tell you not to over pack stuff, especially that which isn't needed because when you become a teen ranger you will end up being penalised for wasting space and adding unnecessary weight" she lectured her.
Amane smirked climbing up the stair banister rather than the steps "Let Ardie have her fun, I think her scooter is absolutely awesome to play with, Granny won't let me have one because I have a Hurricane to take me to places and will have Lily too when she is big and strong and older"

Oinee scratched her head looking over at Little Knight who was watching curiously to see if Silverkin could find the item "I dunno, I raised by unicorns so they teach me unicorn ways. Unicorns give of tiny magical vibes hard to pick up but if you ever do detect them it's possible to pick them up and interperate them into speech... kinda it's hard to explain since so natural to me" she sighed unsure how else to describe it.
Felina tilted her head checking on Silverkin's progress "I bet nobody would dream of bullying them because they would just be that awesome thanks to your great weapon skills and my white magic. We don't have to take them to an elf school though, I'll put my kids wherever they feel most confortable learning. He won't be too long just so you know, he's already really close to the doll"

Mari giggled "Don't worry about it I get that it's a complex thing you must've developed from years of living with unicorns they really are super magical creatures" she said giving Loyalar a final pat before backing off on Hebal's advice.
Oassu shook his head "I don't want them fighting in school and I'm not planning on teaching them knifeplay from the get go" he chuckled seeing Silverkin pad back proudly with the doll in his mouth. "Plus some kids might get on at the fact they'll only be half elf" he sighed.
Itaka tossed the apple in the air before offering Seph another bite "The machines ain't that bad and I thought you liked men, Enkidu must be able to go at some speed to keep up with the bike and Boco, I was surprised he can just drag Gil along like that" he said thinking about the mechanics of it.
Zadina nodded "Don't worry I'm sure we'll totally enjoy the sweets and stuff but I don't know why you wanted to put your scooter in your bag you could've just left it at the door" he said as they got to the top "Besides me and Amane forgot to buy drinks in the sweet shop so you've got us something we didn't have!" he said happily bouncing around the landing.

Seph sighed looking up at the sky while she finished her mouthful of fruit "Well obviously I do like men but... theres something about machines I just don't like. I mean sure times are changing and that but I still think it's kinda sucky that more and more people are using guns and forgetting about the value and satisfaction you get from training with a blade and beating your opponant. You know as technology advances people seem to get... lazier" she complained offering the rest of the apple to Itaka "You keep it if you want it and I'll shush up for a while on that issue.
Hebal smiled sitting down next to Oinee hoping that fletcher might take an interest in her "It most likely is a complicated thing but maybe since they raised you, you know eachother so well that you sometimes dont even need words and things to tell them stuff. Are there any other unicorns in this forest by the way?" she asked hoping the answer would be yes.
Ardie grinned proudly joining Zadina in bouncing around the landing "Hehe thanks I'm glad one of us thought to bring drinks. I hope you like orange juice or poca pola or 1 up" she told him grabbing hold of him and swinging him around slowly. "I didn't wanna leave the scooter outside because it's getting late and we wouldn't have time to set it up again before being called back in"
Amane smiled saying nothing for a moment while she tiptoed past Zadina and Ardie "Ok ok very nice dance but the last one to Zadina's room right at the very end of the landing is a smelly chocobo" she giggled zooming off down the hall sticking her tongue out at the others behind her.
Melanae sighed taking her own bag back and put it around her arm "I knew she was going to do something along those lines but I'm in no hurry even if it does make me the smelly chocobo. I personally love those big bird creatures regardless of their smell" she laughed.

Felina blushed lowering her head "Oh no I didn't mean it like them fighting off the bullies. Still the younger they start learning a skill the better they become and I wouldn't let a kid take a weapon to school... the point was you know they might end up being one of the really cool kids" she explained giving Silverkin a round of applause and a grape for returning the doll to her.
Oinee gently lifted Fletchers neck encouraging him to interact with Hebal "This is the smallest of 5 herds, this one being the smallest and each one kinda has a territory within the forest. It's not a good idea to go into another herds territory if you can avoid it. Somethimes it's ok but other times the other herds get hostile and attack trespassers" she told them smiling as fletched rubbed his nose against Hebal's ear

Oassu nodded "Your right but just saying its not likely, they won't be like the other kids, plus they are royalty, people will be like 'Oh they just got that because they are royalty' and I don't mean just the kids too" he sighed patting Silverkin on the horn as he munched down the grape "but your right I'm probably just being a worrywart" he shrugged.
Mari smiled sitting down beside Hebal and fletcher "Wow I didn't know there was so many in this forest, are you like accepted in all the herds or is it just this one thats nice to you?" she asked stroking Fletchers back.
Itaka shrugged "I don't mind you talking about it if your worried about it you should tell me these things" he said munching the apple "And if enemies use guns it just makes them easier to kill up close since they can't defend themselves" he said "Besides it'll make heroes like us and especially Gil more valuable" he admitted scratching his chin in thought.
Zadina gasped running to keep up with the others "Hey I don't wanna be a smelly chocobo" he said reaching the door before Melanae "And maybe if they are still up we can go visit them?" he suggested to her.

Seph blushed almost getting her tail stuck in one of the vines "I wouldn't go as far as to say I am worried about that but there will be less need for us in future trust me... maybe not now but in a hundred or three years. People usually want to hire people who can do thinks quick and easy with little mess" she shrugged sniffing around the area "Mmm something nearby smells good"
Hebal giggled reaching up to rub Fletcher's ears back with her nose "Yay I think he's starting to like me, such a nice quiet boy" she remarked snuggling into him "Do the unicorns get so hostile that they start fighting and killing eachother and have you guys ever got in trouble for trespassing?" she frowned.
Ardie chuckled running down the hall after Zadina "Haha that makes you the smelly chocobo" she teased Melanae sticking her tongue out at her. The chocobo and chicobos will be shut tightly in the stables now along with the golden one travelling with you guys. And the black one probably"
Amane giggled opening the door for everyone "Aww come on Melanae your meant to at least try running next time. Now you three make yourselves at home for now and I will come back here in a few mins with the magic tent" she told them dashing back up the landing.
Melane shrugged waving to Amane as she passed "Hehe maybe I'll try to run next time but I don't want to knock anything over with my bag on the way" she told her before skipping in the room and dumping her bag on the bed. Your so lucky to get to stay in the awesome room" she gasped.

Oinee shook her head rapidly "No no no you can only be part of one herd and this is mine. Unicorns get mad if I try to be accepted by all and do attack and on rare occasions kill and we have been in tight spots. Theres not many herds. Forest used to be full of unicorns so no need for herds" she added leaving fletcher to roll onto his side.
Felina smiled softly running her fingers down Oassu's back "It's ok for you to be a worrywart isn't that what parents do anyway but some kids might be like that is we take them to a normal school rather than a private one. I wouldn't want to so home schooling or private tutoring though, it may be effective but it gets incredibly lonely... anyway it's going to be a while before we have kids that age so it's nothing to worry about just yet" she blushed.

Mari nodded understanding "Well I suppose its nice you have home still I never knew there would be multiple herds here I must admit I'm surprised. You need to do a great job breeding these unicorns so that this forest can flourish with them once again!" she said.
Oassu looked at Felina "Even if the education ain't as great as at a private school?" he asked uncertainly "And we'll definately rule out home schooling and tutoring since you make it sound so horrible though maybe a little tutoring when exams are coming up wouldn't be so bad" he said planning ahead.
Itaka nodded "Alpha must be almost finished with the food then. But I don't know why you'd say that we can do a quick and efficient job can't we?" he said confused by Seph's feelings.
Zadina nodded "Yeah so if they are shut away we could go pet them and say hello" he said giggling at Melanae's reaction to the room "I suppose it is a very lovely room" he admitted "I'll thank Amane when I leave for letting me stay here"

Hebal sighed happily moving back a little but failing to avoid a big lick in the face from the unicorn "I didn't know anything about there being multiple herds in the forest. We just thought you guys went off on your own a lot and thats why we hardly ever saw more than one of you at the same time" she told Oinee and Fletcher scratched her head in thought
Seph chuckled squeezing Itaka's hand "Sorry I didn't mean to confuse you. What I meant by quick and efficiant is with a gun you can simply hide in a bush fire at the head and it's out the way nobody saw it coming. Plus may I add that bullets hurt twice as much as the average blade wound because they get stuck inside you" she rephrased it reaching up and licking Itaka's face "Never mind about that though my tummy is starting to rumble so I hope it's good food cooked and I would love you to share some of my secial dishes."
Melanae nodded bouncing on the bed testing the springs on the matress "This room is like the luxury bedroom that we usually aren't allowed in because Miss Xyleena reserved it normally for the really important or close guests she has"
Ardie smirked joining Melanae in jumping on the bed "But Zadina, we have a smelly curfew because we are more vulnerable to the mist. We'll get in lots of trouble if we are caught sneaking around outside and I don't want to be grounded again for being naughty"

Felina hesitated before slowly nodding her head "Well ideally I would like him or her to get the best education possible but... I would rather he or she went somewhere which could allow them to make friends and be happy even if its not the best of the best. And hopefully you won't turn our kid into a right scalleywag like my mum probably fears" she joked giving him a playful nudge not noticing Satoshi being transported back into the clearing covered in leaves from when Dawntracker had jumped through the bushes.
Oinee yawned shaking her head slightly "Not likely... theres about 230 left in this forest right now and most of the offspring this past couple of years have been male. If females don't hurry up and get born numbers will at least half in about 50 years" she sighed sadly.

Oassu chuckled "Well I might do that with one, just to spite her but I agree I'd rather our kids were happier than better educated, I turned out fine without any proper education really" he chuckled
Gil waved to Satoshi still rubbing Tumblebelly "Welcome back Satoshi did you have a good trip?" he grinned noting the leaves all over her.
Mari sighed "She's really good at maths too for someone cut off from society" she whispered to Hebal "Still have a little faith, maybe you can get something to make them super fertile and they'll have lots more girlies" she said.
Itaka shrugged "Don't worry I'm sure there will always be work for us, people will develop new technology to counteract guns thats why we'll be needed" he said kissing her and chuckling as she licked him "Your so hungry you think I'm tasty? And what kinda special dishes do you do?" he asked.
Zadina blushed "Well....we could if you could handle it but then again the mist is a problem...I thought the stables were accessible from the house" he said watching the girls bouncing on the bed unsure if the bed could take it before sitting down on the edge of it.

Seph nodded swooping down to the ground "Yeah I am just that hungry, I do loads of soup dishes and noodle dishes mainly but I also do fish and meat and I'll try making any food once" she told him dropping the melons on the ground gently before flying back up to carry Itaka back down to the cave entrence.
Hebal sighed shuffling about uncomfortably "You're just not having the best of years to have more males. I am sure Loyalar and Catslove will have pleanty more babies later on in life and your already getting one girl who might even have kiddies herself with Silverkin one day. Still how come your so good at maths?" she asked Oinee directly.
Ardie shook her head gesturing for Zadina to join them further on the bed "Na uh the stables are separated and locked up tightly at night, they'll be nice and warm and safe in their" she added reassuringly pointing out the window to the stable outside.
Melanae shuffled over for Zadina resting her head against her bedroom wall "never mind about not being able to see the chocobo and her babies, if we are up early tomorrow we can visit them. Plus we can have a really fun pillow fight later in the tent" she chuckled.

Satshi nodded pulling a twig out the back of her hair "Yeah it was really good and fun for the most part. Dawntracker at one point decided to run through a holly bush though" she groaned sliding off the creatures back "Thanks for the ride boy but next time can we miss out the holly part" she thanked him before going up to Gil and giving him a hug.
Felina nodded nuzzling into Oassu earning them a curious look from Silverkin who was still wanting to play "Yeah you turned out perfectly. Sure you might not be the most intelligent person in the world, no offence meant but you have a heart of gold and an amazing personality and set of skills to make up for it" she also chuckled.
Oinee gave Hebal and Mari an odd look before rolling onto her back looking up at the sky "Am I good at maths? I didn't thin I was it's just one day when I was little we found this book in the forest containing instructions on how to use numbers. It was very boring but it helped my language skills improve a little"
