Isn't this move based on some attack where bruce lee did a similar kick (minus the spin) to shatter a light hanging down from the ceiling?

Smash Bros is not a real fighting game.
And MK is wack cause they dont know anything about character design.
Guilty Gear will never be as good as Street Fighter.
And anyone who brings up KOF should know that SNK rips you off.

I'd be inclined to agree with certain portions of Dr.Nightz's little diagram, but with little knowledge of Bruce Lee or fighting games, those portions get left out.

Crossfire should be pleased. He'll be getting homage'd soon, after all.. [DEVIOUS LAUGHTER.]
And, Nightz, I'm afraid you're wrong. So are you, Fox.
Firstly, Suber Smash Bros. DOES > God, but only because he allows it. It's KEWL!
Secondly, the order's like this.
The Order :Flex: > Faust > Bruce Lee > Super Smash Bros. Series > God ^ Jesus < Bhudda V Ryu > Guilty Gear > Most Mortal Kombats past II > Street Fighter, although "<" if it's III: Alpha > Soul Calibur, unless referring to III, in which case, a "<" is in order > Chuck Norris on Crack Cocaine, perhaps? > CSI > Dirt > Dirt regurgitated by Larry, the midtown drunk > Ertai Vexic.
A bit of that's up for debate, but all in all, you get the idea.

Street Fighter III: Third Strike is a smarter, more technique-oriented fighting game than the frenetic, hi-res madness of Guilty Gear (although XX Slash introduces some unique and rather surprising gameplay mechanics).
SFIII:3S is like Virtua Fighter--easy to pick up, nearly impossible to master. However, Guilty Gear's X series requires a completely different skillset, requiring you to constantly make spur-of-the-moment decisions that can make or break a match.
Of the two, I prefer SFIII, since I'm more of a VF4:E player than anything else, but GGXX:S is definitely up there on my list. 3nodding
