Somewhere, deep in the woods Lana, Jen, and Moon would reappear.
Jen bloated her face angrily and held her fists close to her chest, "What is up with that girl, really?! Gets me angry just thinking about it! She doesn't want to live as much as we do, why don't she just give up that soul scythe, he's not even human!"
Moon was much more relax now. She sat down on the grass and said, "That woman with them, what is she?" Moon looked to Lana for an answer.
Lana sat on the tree branch and replied, "She's not human, so it's best not to get involve with her. We're only targetting the soul scythe." She looked down at her comrades and said, "The world is coming to an end, it would seem, with all that's happened to Rhina..." The two would look at her and then turn away.

Ayato kept his head low as he continued, "True, I knew that she vanished in my arms. But I searched for her, I did not lie." He raised his face to look at Katherine's back. "When she disappear in my arms, she told me she was going to die. I didn't believe that it would end just like that, so when I said I'd search for her, I didn't lie." Ayato stood straight and said, "Her last wish was for me not tell anyone about her, she wanted to go on living, she wanted you all to believe she was alive and well. how can I lie to her and say that she was dead?" Ayato stopped and turned to Aisis, hoping she would by now, change her mind. Why does she want to lie to everyone, I don't understand.

She kept her back facing them. "Asami is dead." Aisis looked up at the red sky, "She's been dead, the only reason she was back was to hurt you, Katherine. Now that she decided not to, she has no more purpose. She was supposed to be dead, remember?" Aisis turned around to look at her back and said, "Don't worry about Asami anymore. Even if she was still here, it wouldn't be fair, because she has no body...her original body was cremated when she first died."

She turned back around looking from one to the other. "What right do the two of you have?" She shook her head slightly. "You two bareily knew her, and you have no clue what i could have done for her." Her purple eyes glitterd with tears. "She might have been blood to you Aisis but she was more a part of my family than you would ever know." She looked to Ayato. "That choice wasn't yours, nor was it either one of yours for letting me blindly searching fearing she was laying dead somewhere or worse."

Aisis looked at her, everything she said was right. In Asami's view, she had to agree, but then, she was Aisis. "You're right, I don't know her. Asami's existence was a waste," Aisis said without hesitation. She was only putting herself down, but for some reason she meant it. She barely knew who she was herself. "The choice was Asami's because she's that selfish." Aisis took a few steps foward and stopped, "Let's go Ayato." She walked away again.

Her words were a bit too harsh, considering Katherine believe Aisis to be just Aisis. First Kari, and now Katherine. Was she trying to make everyone forget her? Ayato bowed to Katherine, "Excuse us, your majesty." He chased after Aisis. Because I'm not a human... Ayato started to think as he caught up to Ai.

Katherine took a breath watched them go. "You crossed a line Aisis." She spoke her voice was shakey with grief, what she had said if they had been anywhere else she would have killed her for it, but no one else had herd it. "I don't think it would be wise for you to come so close to the city anymore." Asami was worth more than she knew to her.. to her she was worth a lot. She started away.

When Aisis had entered the forest, she fell foward and kneeled on the ground, "Did I do well, Ayato?" She lifted her hands up to her face, and let out some tears silently. "I didn't know what to say, but I decided that it's best if the Asami part of me was a mistake, I would feel better. While looking at the red sky earlier, I was actually thinking of what i should say to her. How would she think if she knew that I was a monster who could never die, now, I'm even part of Aisis..."

He went down to hold her, "You idiot, you're only making it worst for yourself. Your friends cherish you, that is why you shouldn't hide things from them like this. But, if it your wish, I'll help you hide it. You know I am not human, yet you keep me by your side as one. I'm thankful that you don't just treat me like an object of battle like those other girls from before." Ayato helped her up and said, "Come on, smile for me. I'll help you build that wooden house that you talk about so much." he led them both into the forest.

The right side of that pale visage visible over Katherine's right shoulder, that ultramarine orb luminescent within the shadow. This predator's gaze would remain forward upon Aisis for a good long moment before his head turns, and he would appear in full, stepping out to the right from behind Katherine. Despite having been hidden before, he appears to be over seven feet in height, clad in what appears to be some kind of ancient, worn-down coat the color black. This coat shifts about his form like liquid ink, and his darkness-clad hand would lift, igniting the tip of that burning roll of tobacco with the snap of a finger. Smoke now rises before his gaze, long curls of raven hanging straight down despite the breeze.
He said nothing, simply waiting for an order; this King of Nothing.

Paradox appeared behind the pale visage, this king of nothing. The general's gaze was empty, seeing nothing that it seemed to, yet the stance held more knowledge than any normal man should have known. Being in such peaceful settings wasn't enough for the Paradox of a man, every direction was watched for intruders, every threat categorized and made ready to respond to. It was all very subtle, and seemed very natural for the tall figure. "It seems we are not alone."

His left hand would remain in his pocket, as he lowers that roll of tobacco to the side for now. It continues to burn as a thin layer of smoke is exhaled. Nothing for some time before he speaks. "My throne is now in the sky."

Paradox waited for the queen to appear, as she often did. He had just returned from the field, meticulously taking down notes on what he had seen. The report wasn't in the least bit good.
