Well.. reporters, especially tabloidy and American ones (I'm not being racist, it's true) do like to use expressions like that.. "martyr" and "crisis" and "----gate" etc. Bhutto was more a symbol than anything else, no? Her own governments were fraught with corruption and stuff..
Zut alors.. it just means like "oh sugar!".. <-- this is the polite version of course. xD
