Erzebet Shiyounin cowfish249 Naoemi-Chan In most of the animes I've seen the Japanese voices are better than English. =| i agree! ._. especially kid voices :3 Yes! oh god, In english the kid voices are just... painful to listen to
They're not ALL horrible.
Mind, my example in mind is a video game, not an anime, but still! B| Nanako from Persona 4 has an adorable English voice.

I think it was Ion from Tales of the Abyss that had an adorable voice as well. Genis' from ToS was alright too.

Another think you have to consider is simply the difference in language. Maybe you don't like the way it sounds, but that's how children tend to sound in English. -3- And how voices change over time. By my opinion, little girls and little boys sound quite different in English, but similar in Japanese. Also, in Japanese, older females can still sound a lot more like children (of both genders, considering the earlier similarity) than females OR males in the English language.
=3= I dunno, that's just my opinion. What I'm saying is that there is a key difference between the English and Japanese languages as well.
It's like arguing "Oh, I hate watching romance movies or soap operas in German! They always choose the worst voices in comparison to the original French/Spanish/Italian"
