Bakura stared down at Marik's form. "Oh yes, i'm weak and that's why I'm the one curled into a little ball right now. Oh and last time I checked everyone has a soft, stupid and weak bone in their body." Bakura spoke sounding uninterested and as if he was stating a true fact.

Marik lifted his head up, glaring heatedly at the man opposite him on the bed. Oh, how he wanted to jump up right now and teach Bakura a lesson. The want for it burned in his eyes. If only he wasn't being tormented by this... this weird... feeling in his head that was seemingly trying to kill him from the inside out. "You're weak... because you've let this... this... feeling get to you! I won't let it do the same to me! And you're wrong, Bakura, very wrong. There is no weakness in me. None." He couldn't afford to have weakness. He knew that if this whatever-it-was got its way, he would be like Bakura. Vulnerable.
It was the one thing that could possibly scare him then.

Continuing to stare down at Marik, he spoke again a very unamused tone to his voice. "Right, whatever you say Marik. But if I'm weak, then I'm glad that I am because atleast I have Jou because he certainly makes up for it."

"Stop saying that name!" Marik screamed out, his hands suddenly releasing his head and pounding down into the bed's matress. "Stop!" He couldn't take it anymore. Having Bakura around him was doing something to him... it was driving him crazy! As if he wasn't already crazy enough! "... Just... get out... leave..." One hand grabbed the Rod and pointed it at a nearby wall, opening a door similar to the one he had brought them both through the first time. It led back to Domino, but not to Yuugi's home. Probably just some random street corner somewhere. "Get out..."

Bakura turned his head and stared at the door. "....I thought you said I was not to leave here for all of my existance." he questioned. Bakura's curiosity had also now been peeked, why was Marik suddenly flipping out like this? "I don't exactly feel like leaving any more either." He spoke in a monotone vpice as possible, trying not to make it sound taunting, even though he truly wanted to.

Marik knew he had said that... but it didn't matter to him anymore. He just wanted to be alone again, like he had been in the darkness. He hadn't had to think about how it felt to be alone, or about how it would feel if he wasn't. All he had known there was nothing... the same nothing that he was filled with.
Silence. Darkness. Emptiness.
"The rules... have changed," he mumured. He was staring down at the bland off-white sheet on the bed, almost looking like he wasn't aware that he himself was talking. "Why don't you want to leave!? You want to see your pathetic pet again, don't you? So go!"

Bakura spoke again, still trying his best to maintain his tone of voice. "Hmmm, but something here caught my interest."

"...What?" Marik slowly looked back up at Bakura, his eyes wide and his expression genuinely looking shocked. He had been expecting Bakura to go running back to his lover at once, without a second glance back or another thought about it. He wasn't supposed to stay. Why didn't things go the way they were supposed to anymore? "What reason under Ra could you possibly have for staying here? You should be gone by now!"

"My reason is I want to know why you're acting like even more of a nut case then usual." Bakura stared at Marik for a second but smirked whn his look of shock didn't fade. "Oh, i'm sorry, did I ruin some sort of plan for you?" His voice finally went and gained that taunting tone to it.

"Shut up." Marik's eyes narrowed, his teeth clenching tightly. "You have no idea. And it doesn't matter. This has nothing to do with you!" A lie. It had everything to do with Bakura. "How I act and why I do it is none of your concern! Don't even bother! Now leave, before I change my mind and close the door!"

"Hmmm, and here I thought you didn't even know the meaning of the word concern. Also, if I do leave, how do I know you won't come back and try to bend your little rules again and drag me back here?" Bakura snapped at him.

"So you would rather stay then be able to have any freedom at all!?" Marik was back to yelling again. He was pulled back into himself in a way that made him look almost like a wounded animal, gathering all of its strength to try and look vicious enough to scare the predators away. "You have done enough damage here! GET OUT!"

Bakura raised an eyebrow as he got up off the bed and started walking towards the door. "I caused damage did I? I wonder what it was." Bakura spoke, genuinly questioning.

"... You don't need to know..." Marik repsonded quietly, almost hoping Bakura wouldn't hear. He wasn't too sure what the thief had done either... something substantial, definately. One hand went back up to his head while the other wrapped itself around his middle, making him look small all of a sudden. "Just go back." Then things would be like they should. Bakura would be with his rediculous mortal boy, and Marik would be alone. As he had always been... as he would always be.

Bakura paused and gave Marik a puzzled look for a moment before finally steping through the 'door' to go back to domino.
