((One more success and you instantly learn it.))

Hiro smiled charging the chakra into his body he let it lighten his weight. When he felt his body was floating he let go after Mizu. Watching her movement Hiro smiled. "I got you little sister. That was much to slow for me not to see." Reaching behind him Hiro threw a shuriken at the tree trunk, but realizing there was no explosion he looked at where he was about to land. It was much to late to turn now. Hitting the tag perfectly he was sent high into the air as it exploded under his feet. His shirt was tattered and his shoes were blown clean off. Lucky for him he learned this jutsu the hard way.

Mizu stared wide eyed as she watched her plan unfold, she hoped she didn’t hurt Hiro too badly, since she knew getting blown up did hurt, but this wasn’t technically her fault concerting this was his idea to do it this way. She stared at him a little longer before starting to speak “Umm, Hiro. I think you dropped your shoes.” Mizu said with a bit of humor, she couldn’t really help herself. “Should I continue running?” She said pulling out another tag.

Within seconds Mizu was hurled a few feet from the spot she was standing. Crossed with pain and confusion the genin looked at the item in her clenched hands “It didn’t even blow up! What happen?!” She stared a bit more still wondering what exploded. What she didn’t know is as she grabbed for the tag she was currently holding and began to play with her chakra she brushed agents another tag, leaving traces of said chakra. And by the time it fell from her possession the bomb tag went “boom".

Hiro stood brushing himself off. Ripping the tattered shirt from his body he smiled as Mizu began to fly. "I told you to keep your concentration. You start playing with things you go boom!" Hiro was sure she would learn. He was to busy looking for his shoes. He guessed it didn't matter though. She would most likely blow them off his feet again. "Get up and start running before I eat you!" Hiro growled at her while straighting his hair back into its long grown pony tail.

Forcing herself up again Mizu looked at Hiro with amused eyes “Eat me!? But I taste like human. And trust me I know from personal experience they don’t taste that great.” Mizu said jokingly, smiling she repeated what she did her second successes. Letting the chakra flow to her feet she used the Shunshin no Jutsu to run one foot ahead and quickly turning to face a tree; she leaped up another two feet in the air. On her way up she made it appear as is if she left the tag on the trunk of the tree again using the hand motions like before. As you take a closer look she left the tag to rest on one of the many branches on the inside of the tree's forest of branches. Knowing Hiro would be right on her tail she should have no problem setting the tag off before she fell back down to the deadly range of the tag's explotion.

"Fool me once shame on you fool me twice aint going to happen." Hiro said as he was already behind his sister. As she dropped the tag again he jumped infront of her skipping the tree all together. As the tag went off he smiled in a praising way. "Congrats my little sister. You did very well for yourself. I am very proud of your skill. As a reward I will give you five bomb tags.

Landing near her brother she looked up with a satisfied smile on her face “Sweet. I expected to get blown up more then I did.” Mizu said couldn’t help the proud feeling that spilled from her. “Thanks Hiro.” Mizu said expecting the reward and putting them in one of her holders. “You’re a pretty good teacher, don’t be surprised if I call on you again. Shall we leave now?” Mizu said as she began a painful to walk toward the exit “I’m going to feel this for a day or two.”

Rhiko sat in pure silence, as the sound off in the distance finally came to a close. He wasn't sure what had occured, but he knew, whatever it was, was not something he wanted to be a part of. With no more distractions, Rhiko got down to buisness, and began seriously concentrating on the text, which was coming to the vital points of the genjutsu performance.

A long pause awaited him, as he turned each page, unsure of what it could do next, he would later chuckle that he was so afraid of a book! He kept reading however, and hesitantly turned each page, watching as the pictures from the more recent borrowers becamwe more and more gruesom and creepy.

As he turned the page before the marked picture, Rhiko stared, and felt a cold sweat form on the back of his neck, "B-blood?!" There on the page, was droplets of blood, and a smear from someones hand over the last few words on the page, and a splatter on the top! His hands shook, and he felt his heart race, "W-What could the next page posably hold?! To cause blood to appear on all the pages?!"

He slowly turned the page, andwatched as the page, was not opened by him, but practicly opened itself onto him! He felt himself fall into the pages, and be engolfed by the pages! He screemed for help, but felt himself choked into silence by the pages, and whatever sounds he made, bloted out by the defening fluttering of paper.

Pages and scaps of paper accumulated on his body, and constricted his movements, tieing him down, and draging him deeper in. He didn't understand what was going on, or how the book had done it, in fact, he didn't even remember what the book was about! Over time, he couldn't remember why he had started reading this book in the first place!

All logic disperced away from him, and this became the real world to him, he did question or think, he only yeled and swam through the pages upwards, to try and get away. He found himself suddenly on a tipping pedastal of paper, and he tried desperately to grip to it as it fell over. He looked, and watch as he sliped along the smooth surface, leaving behind a trail!

The trail was of blood, and it was spilling from his body! Millions of cuts and slices, from paper, cut through ever inch of his body, parts of him, which wernt even flesh, bled, such as his pants and shirt! The cloth itself bled! This was horifying, and made no sence! Why was this happening?! How did he get there! Why would he be here?! He thought intensively, wishing somehow he could get away!

He fell from the pillar, and downward into a flowing river of sheets, pages, and scraps of paper. He fell in, and watched as his vision spread, and split into millions of individual spots of sight! He didn't know which way was up, down, left right, in, or out! Everything he thought he knew was falling appart, and disapating into nothing!

Just as everything seemed to reach a climactice end, it was all gone! He was standing in the grove, stll not sure where he was, or how he got there, or why he was standing, the book was gone, and so he started to walk around looking for it. He walked and walked, untill he stumbled upon the owl he had seen earlier, it was lying on the group, dead... a chill rose up in him, and he ran away from the scene.

Rhiko screemed out for anyone, but found no one was there, there wasn't even an echo to answer him... but he kept walking, despite the eiry feeling he got in his gut. Something in him screemed don't go forward, but some unknown force kept puling him, and he finnally steped forward, and entered an even more familiar setting.

Rhiko stood there, silently, speechless, disturbed and horified to the point immobility. His heart sank, and a cry welled up in his throat, and burst forth violently! He dashed forward and began stabing, slashing, and cuting down anything that moved as tears ran down his face! He kicked down the door screeming out, "Mom! Dad! Are you there?!"

His home was on fire, and there were shinobi all over the housing district swarming and killing everyone! His parents were nowhere to be found. He yelled out to them, and searched every room of the house! He ricked in doors, and pressed past the flames. He was so scared, he would never want to loose them.

He made his way to the kitchen, and yelled out once more, "Mo-" His words were cut out as he spoted her, laing on the ground, looking right at him with an eiry smile on her face, "M-Mom?!" He screemed and ran to her side. she was bleeding all over, and had a kunai well placed in her chest. "M-Mom!" Was all he could yell, as her eyes slowly glazed over.

He stood up, shivering, and shaking in loathing for the intruders, "You killed her!" He yelled, as he dashedo out of the building, he spoted the shinobi a distance away, he dashed at them, and threw all his kunai, desperately wanting to mow them down with no mercy. He wanted to kill them, and make them suffer a fate much worse then his mother, but he knew she had already paid the ultimate price.

"She wasn't even a shinobi! Why her?!" He drew his naginata, and skewered one, then lifted him into the air, holding him there, and watching him writhe in agony, "Why her?!" He charged forward with the man still on the end of the poll, then ramed into a wall, pining him there, "Why Her?!" The man began to chuckle, and suddenly the face became in focus, "F-Father?!"

He droped the naginata, and his father fell to the ground, "What's going on?!" He yelled. "what are you doing in that uniform?!" He watched as the man that looked exactly like his father, stood up, dispite his wounds, and walked forward, chuckling the whole time. He steped forward, every step, spilling blood on the ground, the skies were so red, they looked like they themselves could begin raining blood.

Rhiko scrambled back, and ran for his life, and he ran, and ran, and ran. He ran till he could no longer hear the sounds of crackling wood under the presure of flames. He dashed along, and rounded a corner, entering an alley. For a single moment he looked back, to see if he was followed, "No one's there..."

He turned back, and his jaw droped, "A forrest?" He had suddely moved to a new surrounding, when only moments before, he was within an alleyway between buildings. hose buildings were noqwhere to be seen, and he was suddenly alone. "Wh-What's going on here?!" He spun around and around, confused and in a daze, somthing wasn't right... but what was it? what was going on... how did he get there... how did he get to his house... where was he before he got to his house?

All the thoughts ran around in his mind untill the only logical explaination showed itself, "Genjutsu!" He yelled, and then, everything rushed back to him! Where he had been, what he was doing, why he was there, the oddness of the illutions all became apparent! He looked around quickly for the book, and without a blink, he was sitting, with the book closed in front of him.

On the back of the book, was a small excert from the book, that he didn't notice before, "Congradulations. You now know everything you need to know to learn basic Genjutsu. The genjutsu you experienced, was a week, and limited one, that you recieved when you opened the cover. If you were to open the book again, you would not recieve the genjutsu again. The genjutsu was made, to litterally teach you, orchestrated right from the begining, to do everything you've done over the past couple hours. The inside of the book, other then the covers, ar completely blank. I hope you have learned alot... Goodbye for now!"

The writing suddenly set aflame, and vaporised from existance. Rhiko sat there in confusion, "A genjutsu... all of it was a genjutsu? How interesting."

Rhiko sat in silence for awhile, trying to recover from what he had gone through. The Genjutsu was obviously ment not to cause lasting damage, for he must have been stuck in it for hours, posably days! However, dispite all the genjutsu's failsafes, the genjutsu caused a serious headache. Rhiko even went as far to make a joke, and say it was his training hangover!

After sitting for a long while, Rhiko began to experiment with his hands, forming the handsigns necesary for performing the jutsu sucessfully. He sat, counting them off out loud as he went, performing each one, faster and faster, untill he was sure he could perform them with great effectiveness and haste.

Rhiko would like to train with it, but he had nothing to use it on, no person to test it on... and besides, that would be foolish. He sat in his idle state, without anything to do, untill a bird flew by in front of him. He watched the bird, peck, and nible at another bird's nest, attacking the small chicks inside. He stared for a moment in terror, wanting desperately to help the animals that could not help themselves.

In anger, he desided he knew exactly how he would practice his jutsu, by using it on this bird! The bird pecked, and tortured the small infiants of the bird species, and slowly but surely would kill them. They were a nuisance, nothing more to his teritory, and he wished to be rid of them. Rhiko only guessed that it had killed the parents of the bird, and now would finish these babies off.

He gritted his teeth, and concentrated on the jutsu, as he formed the hand seals. He sped them by, chating the seals off, hoping he remembered them correctly. When he finished, he wasn't sure if it worked. There was moment, where the bird stood idle, then fluttered a couple times. He looked, and crossed his figures, hoping the baby birds were not dead, and he hadn't failed.

Sudddenly, the bird went into a wing gflapping fit! It sputered, and took off for a moment, floating uneasily for a moment, then fell right to the ground below. It shivered on the groud for several minutes. There was a silence over the grove, as this bird flaped and floped all over, squeeking violently in distain for its toture.

This lasted for several minutes, as the bird came to a slow, agonising halt. As pure quite set on the grove, Rhiko thought the bird might be dead. This was dismissed as the bird fluttered in it's place, then stoped again. If it wasn't dead yet, it would be soon. The way it floped around in place, gave him the impresion that it had been seriously damaged in its small brain. The damage done to a person would obnviously take a longer time, due to a person's brain stability.

"This.. is what happens to a bird... then I'd hate to see what happens to a person after long exposure." He said, still watching the bird for several minutes. The bird squirmed and shook, then stoped all togerther. Even its breathing halted. Rhiko stood over it, and frowned, "It's brain finally just, shut down... so its heart stoped pumping. I wonder if this can happen to my enemies. To die in a nightmare... what a scary way to go."

He went back over to the bird's nest, and looked inside, to check on the babies. They were there, except one was dead, its throat pecked out by the other bird. He winced, and got down from the tree, leaving the dead chick in the nest, so the mother could come back and know its baby was dead. It was a harsh truth, but she needed to know. Rhiko knew it was just a bird, and didn't have feelings or understanding as he did, but he would still give them the curtesy.

having tested, and successfully using the jutsu, Rhiko desided his training in thwe grove had come to an end. And without anther thought, he collected up his things, and grabed the book, and headed off. Leaving behind the memories of the grove... for now.

Creates one or more identical copies of the user out of water. More similar to Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger) than to a normal Bunshin no Jutsu (Doppelganger Technique), these clones are capable of attacking, except for the fact that each clone's power is only one-tenth of the user. Also, the clones can only be controlled within a certain radius of the user. That is the technique's weakness. This is considered to be the Water Style equivalent to the Leaf Village's "Kage Bushin No Jutsu" (Shadow Doppelganger Technique) mainly because it divides up the user's attention and chakra to an extent.

Rhiko re-entered the grove, taking another deep breath of the cool, misty air. He closed hs eyes while walking, and enjoyed the moment of silence. "It's so nice here. The quiet of pure nature. Nothing of the village touches this place. It makes it so peacefull. I love it." Rhiko opened his eyes, and looked around. "Shoot it seems I missed a turn or something."

A quick turn around sent hi in the hopefully right dirrection. He was searching for a great lake in the grove that he had found only once before. "I need some water source... perferably bigger then a puddle." He said as his foot splashed in one. "Heh, to think that a puddle, with the right jutsus could house a shinobi. I remember jumping and splashing my mother when I was a kid. And soon after in the accademy found I could manipulate the water with my chakra, and even lift the puddle off the ground, and throw it at someone like a water balloon... my sensei, was not very pleased with that one..."

Rhiko turned another corner along the beaten path, of semi-frequently walked on foilage. He brought his naginata down onto a vine, growing across the path, cutting it clean. "So much for the path staying clear..." He said with a sigh, "I really hope this is the right way..."

Soon enough, Rhiko walked out nto a clearing, one that was familiar to him, but not the dirrection of the lake, "Shoot! I swore this was the right way!" How do I get to the lake then?" Rhiko stated as he turned back around, and made his way to the main path again. "Alright, I've gone 2 of the 5 paths... it better be on this path..."

He began his next jurney down another path, and along the way, was joined by a familiar Owl. This owl seemed to have a conection to him. He smiled at the bird, which simply tilted its head in return and have a loud, "Whooo!" Rhiko kept walking, and glanced back again, and noticed the bird was following him, "Whooooo, are you?" He said to the bird jokingly. The bird responded with another loud, "Whoooo!" Which echoed off the trees.

Rhiko looked up at the bird then stoped, "Why are you so interested in me?" he asked curriously. The bird didn't do anything, it just tilted its head almost completly upside down, then gave its noise again. Rhiko laughed, and bonked himself on the head, "I'm talking to a bird... what am I doing?" He took another look to where the large, Horned Owl geld its perch, then walked away.

The bird quit following him, and up ahead he could hear the sound of tiny waves hitting a shore. His feet picked up pace, and he eventually reached an all out run. He burst forth from the brush, and stood in front of a lake. He looked at the brilliantly clear water, and he coudn't help an urge to jump in, but he resisted.

Rhiko took a seat in front of the sparkling watersorce, barely diturbed by a single rpple but the small waves that build up only a foot from the shore, and only got to be an inch high. Rhiko pulled out a book of Water clones, and began reading. This book, like almost all his books, was from the main library. Exactly how many books he had in his messenger bag, was probably even unknown to Rhiko. But the number was great for sure, becuase the bag was very heavy.

His reading was interupted by the flaping of wings, and he looked over, and freeked out. Only an inch from his own face, was the Horned Owl. He fell back and scrambled back. It was surprising how actually large it was. Abnormal to be precice. The bird was as tall as he was when sitting indian style. It gave its call once more, and bounced closer. Rhiko didn't understand but watched its eyes drift to his bag.

Rhiko laughed, and reached over for the bag. The bird watched him grab the bag, and bounced over closer to him. He reached in the bag, and pulled out a bag of crackers. He opened it, and held it out to the bird. The bird bouced close, and took a cracker, then flew off, and landed in a tree within sight distance. Rhiko sighed, "I've been here for awhile, and I still havn't even touched what I planed to learn. But... apparently I've made a friend already."

Rhiko sat in silence now, alone to himself, and his book, and the soothing noice of the tiny waves. He closed his eyes before begining his true training, and took a deep breath, "Ah... if only every day could be this relaxing." He laid back in the sand, and enjoyed the misty environment. He tried very hard not to just fall asleep, and succeeded... to a point. He felt himself drift off a tad on several occations.

Rhiko woke himself quickly, and sat up. He reached for his book, and opened it to the first page. It was a small book, but had alot of information. On the cover, it had a simple title of, Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu, no more, no less. Inside, were several diagrams, and descriptions. But at this point, those diagrams ment nothing to him.

He began reading aloud to himself about the jutsu, "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu, is a Kirigakure secret jutsu, never to be shared with a ninja from another village, no matter how trusted. It allows for the practicly equal power of a shadow clone, at less cost. The advantage that the Village hidden in the mist, is never short on water, shows proudly the conviniency of this move compared to many clone variations."

Rhiko kept reading to the next paragraph, quite interested in the jutsu, less interested in the propaganda thrown into almost every sentance... which loved to screem at him, "Kiri is the best!" He kept reading, and found as he read, the whole first chapter, was just a bunch of propaganda and worthless words. Frustrating to say the least, Rhiko moved on, and ignored the rest of that chapter.

As if not missing a thing, the book renewed its correct path, and actually started talking about the task at hand... Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu. He read out loud, "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu, is commonly known as a combo jutsu. This jutsu, is viewed by half the secialists, as a Ninjutsu... and the other half, see it as a Genjutsu. We'll see in a moment why this is belived to be true."

Rhiko nodded, "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu, holds true to both sides of the arguement. First, a ninjutsu, because you are manipulating the water by use of chakra. The art of forming the shapes and figure to match yourself, or even someone else, takes ninjutsu skills. The color, and look of the person, is formed by use of Genjutsu properties. Without one of these, the clone would not be very effective now would it?"

Rhiko could understand both sides so far, but what did it have to do with learning the jutsu? He continued reading, "The arguement for the side of Nibjutsu, stand by the evidence, that the clone could not even be formed without the use of ninjutsu. Genjutsu supporters say that the clone alone could not do any good if it simply looked like water. It would seem, that the ninjutsu supporters do have a greater point, but, still no decision has been made to finalise it, and the jutsu remains a combo jutsu."

Rhiko was begining to get anoyed, "Alright, you've explained to me, WHAT the jutsu is... now tell me how to use it!" He fliped a few pages and came to the next chapter, which made him quite happy, becuase it was named 'How To'. Rhiko crossed his fingures it would actually give him the information he wanted to know.

He began reading, and smiled with delight. "This is it! Finaly, I can start learning the actual jutsu!" He started reading hastily, and was quite pleased indeed. The chapter was what he was waiting for, and he would quickly be ble to move on with this information. The jutsu was simple enough from the diagrams, the problem was, reading and learning it, was very different from actually performing it. Next came the more difficult step.

Rhiko was about to continue, when another flap of wings reached his ears. He glanced over, and was once more face to face with the bold bird. Its eyes stared into his, unblinking, with a stare that showed no emotions. He stared back, and the contest insued. He stared, trying very hard not to blink. A smirk formed on his lips, and he suddenly burst into laughter, "I'm having a staring contest with an owl... that's just great... I've seriously lost it!"

Rhiko reached over, and grabed the bag of crakers, and gave another one to the bird. THis time, the bird took it, and only bounced a few times to move away from him and eat its treat. "This owl is wierd..." He chuckled, then looked back to his book.

The book was finally going to be interesting. His eyes scanned the pages, and soaked in every word. Every detail and instruction to performing the jutsu... he was enscribing it all onto the surface of his brain, to remember it all for them oment he would start trying to actually use it.

The first page was simple enough, it explained the way your chakra should be distributed for the effective and accurate formation of a perfect Mizu Bunshin. The book described everything about the mizu bunshin, and also explained that these were far more durrable then normal clones. Instead of breaking on first contact, these could actually recieve and deal damage.

A smile crossed his face at the idea, "With four of me, not including myself, I could effectively fight and disdtract several enemies, while nailing and picking them off with genjutsu! Genious, this will come in so much handy! Much more then normal clones!"

He moved on to a deeper explaination of the genjutsu half of Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu. it was very complicated, and probably not important to really know, but he read it anyway so he'd have every last bit of information there in his brain should he need it. But truthfully, the information really was not that important.

Rhiko looked up from his work, and noriced the bird had made its way behind him, and was looking at the book as well. It had its head right over his shoulder. He turned quickly startled, and t jumpd back, startled at his reaction, "Where you reading my book too?" He asked laughing. The bird tilted its head at him, and gave a low Whoo, and then some noises much like a chicken's cluck.

Rhiko shruged, and threw it another cracker. It flew over to it, and nibbled happily. Then, with no more distractions for a bit, Rhiko went back to his work. The book didn't have much thickness left. And it seemed he would need to make alot of hand signs to pull off this jutsu, and that ment memorising them all in order.

He started chanting them off one by one, over and over and over, to get them stuck in his head, "Dog, Monkey, Snake, Rat, Ox, Sheep, Rabit, Snake, Rat, Dog, Monkey, Rat..." He repeated, reading from the book over and over. He sighed, stoping for a moment, and closing his eyes.

He spoke to himself, trying to test himself, to see if he could remember, but when he opened his eyes and read, he noticed he had failed, he read them over, and tried once more... chanting them off, "Dog, Monkey, Snake, Rat, Ox, Sheep, Rabit, Snake, Rat, Dog, Monkey, Rat..." He stoped, and opened his eyes, "I got them!"

Rhiko stood up, and walked out onto the water and said to the horned owl, who specated the action, "I need to be on the water to work best WITH the water." He shook his head, "I'm explaining myself to a bird... i reeeeeally need to get a grip today..."

Rhiko stood on the water, and tried to keep his balance. The water was perfect when he looked down on it. The liquid reminded him of the clearest glass. He could see every fish down to the very bottom of the lake where the grenels and aligator fish hovered. The angle was quite a sight, one he thouroughly enjoyed. On top of its appearance, the water was a prime sample to be used as a clone sorce. The water was clear of impurities, probably by the help of all the shrimp in the sand cleaning constantly.

The reason the lack of impurities helped, was because the cleaner the water, the easier it was to manipulate. For example, water with lots of sand or dirt, it becomes like muck when tried to manipulate, and it requires alot of stress and work to put into the corect form. Rhiko concentrated at this point, and started off with the hand signs.

Rhiko placed his hands together, and started making the hand signs. One by one in quick succession, he created a jutsu formation, and activated it with a successful rat. He then slaped hishands on the water's surface, and the water began bulging in one place in front of him. Like guyser ready to explode, it rose up inch by inch and was just about to work!

It would have worked to, if it wasn't for a very hungry, and curious owl poking its head into the bag of crackers! Rhiko pulled his hands off the water, and yelled at the bird, failing in his concentration to keep the clone growing. He dashed across the watter, and onto the ground, and chased the bird off, which greadily took the bag with it. He growled and kicked some dirt in anger, "Dumb bird stole my snacks!"

Rhiko returned to the water, and began the process all over again. He formed the hand signs, and rapidly went through them, then returned his hands to the surface of the water. "I'm not going to get distracted ANY MORE!" He watched the water bubble up, and form in front of him. He was just about done, when his bird friend returned, only to sabotash him unintentionally! Right as the clone finished, and took on a solid appearance, it flew in, and landed on it. The sharp claws of owl, sunk into the clone, and exposed one big weakness to his clones. It poped! Just like that! It disapated into a splash of water.
