Erica shrugged. "Blitz, we used to rob banks for fun."

He continued walking as he thought back to the robberies. "Man those were fun. We should do one after we take care of Lazerus."

(In response to AC's last post)
He thought for a moment, looking around the streets. Nothing was familiar, there was no immediate sense of dread that came with any of the darker pathways- it was probably relatively safe to go anywhere from here. Safer to find a place that wasn't so deserted, anyway.
He turned over his shoulder and whistled- a call to his hawk to alert him that they would be moving. The raptor drifted into view above, circling Celledor and Corellia like a buzzard would circle a creature about to die.
Lovely imagery to have when one finds themselves in a strange place with no supplies to speak of.
Without really thinking, he pointed north.

Burning Disaster He continued walking as he thought back to the robberies. "Man those were fun. We should do one after we take care of Lazerus." Erica chuckled. "Not a bad idea, but whose bank? Union city's?" She moved towards the AoS HQ in semi-quick pace.

"Any bank. It'll be fun." He took Erica's speeding up as a challenge and began to jog.

جؤخمخق=يشقنلامعثد))!؟!؟!؟!؟!
EDIT 15Aug sad (The problem with using a computer routinely utilized by linguists is that occasionally the keyboard gets stuck on Arabic. xp What I tried to type was, "Anybody know what's north? Or, if we have no cardinal directions here, anyone have a preference where we go next?))

As everyone was happily doing their thing the Sirens of Union city started going off. Incoming nuclear missile was on it's way, and the citizens have a limited amount of time in which they can evacuate. Soo......START EVACUATING THE PREMISES IMMEDIATLEY!!!!! screaming is optional.
The place of evacuation can either be the Shelter, or the Ruins of Phoenix, or the Battlegrounds.
RUN!!!!!

Baranar raised craned his head, staring out at the sirens as they made noise. He ruffled his feathers, spread his wings, and flew down to the ground level. He transformed back into his own form, Feather following closely. He was at the edge of the city, and he turned to face the outside. He knew he couldn't stop the nuke, that would be impossible. Divert it, maybe, but he couldn't stop it without it destroying everything anyways. Light built around his hands, spreading out, forming a caravan of numerous white boxes, levitating a few feet off the ground, large enough to hold over 20 people.
"People of Union, to Me." He called out, amplifying his voice."

Corellia looked around curiously when the sirens went off, not having any clue what it meant. Likewise, she had no clue what "people of Union" meant... but she knew what "to me" meant, and the boxes were cretainly interesting.
"View ye, Celledor," she told her quiet companion. "Crates of sunlight, born of man's magick, then yet float upon air as if risen in water. Shall'n we get 'n'n carry along?"
They climbed into one of the boxes, although the hawk stayed outside to follow them through the air.

Erica heard the sirens and twitched a slight bit. "Blitz, we're taking a detour. Super speed. War Shelter. Now."

Celledor didn't like the idea of walking into the mystery box, but he was familiar enough with sirens to know better than reject a possible escape option. He whistled again, and Tegan dove- joining the two as they entered. As Celledor lacked a glove on which the large bird could safely land, it was forced to land on the ground and then hop onto his arm as it was offered.
Celledor loved Tegan deeply, but he wasn't about to risk his arm to an accident-prone bird.
He glanced at Core as the bird settled. "Any idea what's happening?"

Corellia looked back at him, surprised. She'd been searching around for Blitz, since he was the only person she knew around here. "Hm? Oh, nyah. Yet in haste one yells 'To me,' a fury be underway. Ye find discomfort in magic-like?"

"...Yes!"
He looked around the glowing box, entirely uncomfortable being anywhere near it- being INSIDE it did little to calm his nerves.

"Oh." She blinked. The only ways she had ever heard of to help people with that unease had either been disgusting or hadn't gone over well, so she'd forgotten all of them and stopped looking. "Apology? Uneasy hitch in'n be it uneasy times." She shrugged.
"Hail, magicker!" She yelled to Baranar, leaning out of the box. "Where'est'n be ye take of us? Where'n'n wherefore go we wi'ye?"
