Static had thought of that and he had the perfect ability to fix the problem. He just need someone to dig, because he could not dig and keep the sand away at the same time.
"That is one of the reasons why I need someone to dig for me. You see I could dig the whole for myself, but that would take up too much of my focus if I am going to keep the sand from caving back in on me again. So if you were to dig, I would be able to move the sand away from the area and set up a wall to keep it from smothering us."
Static stopped for a moment, then smiled before continuing. "Besides, I am sure you will find a number of great treasures down there. I am actually only looking for one item, you are welcome to have all the other treasure that we find in the ruins. The ruins are supose to be full of them."

Being dead and not needing money to buy food, clothing, or shelter made money and treasure absolutely useless for Tombs. Not that he had no concept of value...
Tombs didn't ask about it being guarded or trapped, or if something lived in the ruins. He didn't really care.
"If you can do as you say." Tombs punctuated the long statement with a nod, gesturing to the desert with a wave of his free hand.

Static smiled for a moment, then nodded his head.
"I can handle it, as long as I am able to focus. Then after the hole is made I can make it preminate. All you need to do is dig it, I will handle the rest."

Rather than just standing there Tombs started walking. Despite being a corpse he could make a normal pace by foot using the shovel as a walking stick.
Just skirting the edge of the hole, he headed for the desert. Even though Static had the map.
Desert or not, the heat and climate wouldn't bother Tombs. His gaunt face stayed mostly expressionless with his eyes parted slightly. Tombs' leathery skin was already so weathered the sun and wind wouldn't do a damn thing.

Static Followed closely behind Tombs, as they moved out into the desert. For the most part they would have quite a walk before they needed to start going in a diffrent direction. So Static did not say anything to Tomb's about what way to go.
Static had quite enough supplies to handle the journey, even if it were a long one. Not to mention he new where all the sources of water were between here and thier distination. Taking a look at the map, he diecide that he would talk to Tombs about resting at nightfall. Until then they would continue on in a reletivly strait direction.

edit:: They left in the direction Nathanial left, leaving sigh alone with Kaym.
Sigh patiently waited for them to leave his sight before he turned back to Kaym. Her hair had wrapped itself over her face, making it impossible to see her expressions.
Kaym lifted her eye lid, her lashes lightly wisped on the sand; blinking two times before letting out her first breath which pushed the sand further away from her flaring nostrils. She paused her breathing; she could hear Sigh’s boots approaching her from the back.
With no more then a blink with an eye, Kaym’s body flung off the ground, using her hand as a spring.
The action would only take seconds, hopefully that was enough - before Sigh understood the situation. – whirled around, still dazed and a bit startled, her legs twisted around awkwardly, and she quickly lost control of them. "?!”
Sigh charged forward releasing an immense surge if energy from his two palms, simultaneously striking her rib cage, leaving a grey wave in his wake. Unwillingly, Kaym’s body was shot backwards, smashing into the ground. “Feign … How do you?!”
She rose to her knees, panting, breathing hard. She didn’t predict her legs would be so feeble.
“There’s a lot you can learn when your only goal isn’t power.” Kaym replied, resting her palms on the sandy ground.

[... im a big loser, i should have honestly finished this a long time ago]
With a sudden jolt, Kaym’s head was flung back and her face smashed the ground throwing up dust and rock. But without pause, Kaym swung her leg up, hooking Sigh’s neck, ripping it back; flinging him also to the ground, his grip on her hair held firm, with his backwards fall, her head flung in his direction as well. Her outstretched elbow slashed down into his face, breaking his nose and releasing his grip on her hair. She immediately stood to her feet, arms erect in fight position, battered elbows, forearms and bloody fingers, all ready to fight back. The adrenaline made it easy for her to resist her pulsating head and chest.
Sigh staggered to his feet. “He heh, not bad…” His vision blurred and before he could think, he desperately charged at her once again but now using an open blade.
Swinging out her elbows to catch the strike, Kaym countered with a parry of punches to his chest followed by a spinning kick to his face, his perilous tumble that quickly turned into a dangerous spin, but then halted to a quick stop when his shoulder was crushed into the broad side of a building. His sight was fixed on the ground, how could this happen to him so fast? Wasn’t she mortally wounded? His eyes rolled; seeing Kaym standing in such a calm manner puzzled him.
A memory sprang forth, something that Kaym had once said; he wasn’t really paying attention, for he never paid attention to her very much, why was this memory reoccurring? Kaym and Feih’s feet swung freely as they chatted, sitting on the wooden bar stools, drinking in the middle of the afternoon. “… Yah! *hick-up, that was so awesome when you,… SWOOSH…!” Feih motioned the sound with his hand. “…jumping down from the 12th story window on top of the guy! *Hick-up* How come you don’t do that anymore?” Kaym’s elbow was lying on the bar, and her face rested on her palm. “Cause’ I cant.”
“What?” *hick* “How come?”
“Because, I could only do that when he was alive, when he’s gone, my abilities…suck, … cut more then half away!...”
Feih crinkled his face. “That doesn’t make sense!”
“Think of it like a flower, that flower gets its energy away from the sun, when the sun is with it, it grows stronger each day.” She paused, allowing a gasp for air, followed by a hic-up. “When the sun is taken away, the flower withers; it gets weaker and weaker each day, when eventually, … poof.”
She smiled once more, and closed her eyes. “Meh, but in my case, I wont die! HA!” She opened her eyes and looked at Feih, whom was fast asleep on the counter.
“Really! I can’t ever keep a conversation with you…” She continued to sip her scotch. Sigh stood to his feet, remembering that he was also sitting on the other side of the bar, and their loud drunk conversation echoed throughout the room, how could he not have heard that.
Does that mean that HE isn’t dead? And with the way she is, he can’t be far, he may even be on this continent… The slightest breeze seemed to brush his check, swinging his head back just in time to see flames sailing towards his frightened eyes. He leaped forward instinctively, elbows, knees into a forward roll, as the Deadly cyclone flashed past his back and through a building only two steps away.
His back scorched, losing his shirt and most of his pride, Sigh rose his knee about to stand, then suddenly snapping back into a loud howl
Kaym had smashed her boot onto the back of his leg, shattering his heel and ankle.
Sigh revolted, revealing his perfectly white teeth as he swung his arm back, entrusting it to strike Kaym. His arms stopped and his elbow grew tight.
Kaym wasn’t to be taken lightly anymore, even though she wasn’t very big, but she was really looking pissed, and to his surprise, Kaym’s eyes carried a new black tint. Flames cracked dangerously from Vayu as the enraged woman pulled his elbow towards her, sword in hand, holding his arm arched around and over his shoulder. As Kaym pulled, he could feel a surge of energy encompassing Kaym’s sword. His breath shortened and his mouth grew wide as the burning steel carved its way into his muscular abdomen, repeating its action three more times before removing itself completely.
He did not scream, not a moan, not a tear.
Nothing
…
Kaym was satisfied with her blades’ work, but she was frustrated with the silence. The puddle of blood they resided in was an indication that he would not live long, even without her next move…
“You have too much pride, Sigh. It’s a shame; you could have used your strength to save people.” She watched as his eyes strolled up to meet hers. “Your death will be one of many I will not come to regret.”

Unsane was sitting cross-legged dead in the middle of a nearly-empty street, looking grumpier than ever. In the last episode, our anti-hero was lost in the depths of Barthavos desert after an encounter with Acacia's big brother, who happens to be a big snake with feathers.
Obviously, the sister got all her parents' good looks.
After a long while of wandering and telling himself how he'd get this desert frozen over first thing once he ruled the world, the Esthell king finally reached civilisation: Strata. This, though, wouldn't further his cause in any way, for you see ...
"WHO'S THE BRAT WHO TOOK MY GODDAMN WALLET?"
He didn't have the money to do anything.

A small ship sailed overy the gistening water towards he harbor only one person was on the ship but you could faintly see littel blue figures moveing around. Silabus looked upon the city and shighed. "Hmph I wonder what will happen this time"?
The ship moved gracefully towards the harbor and just as you could see everything on the ship perfectly the littel blue figures vainished like they had never existed. The ship weighed ancore then Silabus put down the ramp and walked down it then when he was on the ground the ship quickly lifted its ramp as Silabus looked around to see what the town had to offer. *I cant read english this might be a problem*

Kaym stumbled to her knees. She didnt think too much about the local authorities, more of her concern was to stop the blood from gushing from the new wound in her chest and to find Nathanial. The wondering eyes and whispers around her made her a little nervous though..
Already being on her feet, she gazed in the direction that nathanial had gone.
..Towards the sea? Pressing her hand over the open wound on her rib cage, Kaym left Sigh where he laid and headed in predestined direction.
she stopped on the way, seeing she was looking really suspisious, seeing that she covered in quite a bit of blood.
"...." Her reflection in the fountain water was distorted and tainted with a incarnadine color. Her yellow eyes blinked as she looked at herself more closely in the water. kaym Scooped up water and rinsed it down her arm in attempt to wash the blood. Vayu had already been washed and sheathed and Rigveda was still at her side. The cool water beaded off her leather armour and spandex getup.
at least that still works, eh?
----
Leaving Kaym's side was probably the best thing Nathanial could have done. He would have just been a pester.
"I wonder where Caster and Feih went?" Nathanial asked himself outloud as he stood on the dock. His blue eyes scrolled across the horizon, "this place looks familiar..?"
"Ah!" He said, hitting his palm with his closed fist. "This is where I woke up when we first got here!"
A little excited isnt he?
As Nathanial watched the ships come and go, he thought to himself.
A whole lot has happened. Do we have to continue living out lives like this? He asked himself. The sands of time are flowing and Where ever Nathanial and Kaym end up. He hoped it wasnt bad. Nathanial has always been optimistic about life. Ever since he was little. "A bright child," is what they called him.
"A bright Child..huh?"

A hand lightly touched his head. He didnt have to look up, for he already knew who it was.
"I figured you'd be here." Kaym sat next to him, her feet also hung off the dock.
"So,.." He paused, still looking out at the endless horizon, "What are we going to do now? Are we going after Caster and Feih?"
Kaym's adulterated yellow eyes narrowed. they glistened with a heartful gentleness. "I'm tired."
Her brother looked at her and smiled, then, looked at back the sea. "Lets see where the sea takes us."
Kaym's blinks were slow, her mind seemed to be full of clearity with just that statement.
" yes"
And with that. Natanial moved his hand behind himself in attempt to rise. Kaym's head turned and watched as he stood to his feet and put his hands on his hip, then he moved one to his bow, Holding a tight fist.
"Alright! I know exactly where we are going!"
"You do?"
"Er, .." His face gagged out an embarrassed face, "Kind of," He scratched his temple, "I saw posters all over town of a tournament thats going on right now. I dont know if its over but, iw ouldnt mind seeing it!"
Kaym stopped and thought about his statement, or request, if you want to put it that way. Her face turned towards the water again.
"I saw the end of one last year. I believe it was HoH.." Her face turned back, " right?"
"AAH! you know of it? Hey, is it cool? Are the fighters strong? Can we go?"
Kaym chuckled. His excitment was ever so entertaining, and a relief. Then again, he was a young human after all. "I think it may be over by now. But I wouldnt mind seeing the competitors this year myself. There was one Character that was very impressive; she recollected of the time when she saw Sun strike, and his companion, Vahn. What was with that dark skin and yellow eyes. It reminded her of Sam so very much. Where was Sam from anyway?
"So does that mean we can go?"
"Sure."
"Awesome!" Nathanial kicked his feet up and pulled on Kayms arm, indicating to go.
"where are we going?" Kaym asked, being drug behing the anxious boy.
"We need to get a new gettup if we are to travel. ..get yiou out of those clothes!"

"..."
Lazenca's eyes were closed as he walked. Hands were pocketed, and most of his body was coverd by a black cloak. The winds along this road were light, and the people were given no notice. He knew where they were, and that they weren't coming up to talk to him.
He didn't know why he was here. In a place so goddamned warm and humid. His aura was up, keeping the air an inch from his body quite cool. Other than that?
...Other than that, nothing else mattered as sandal'd feet kept him moving to a destination unknown.

Unsane was still penniless and pissed at everything, from breeze to bug. Passerby were giving angry glares and foul remarks as shoulders bumped into shoulders at his passage. Some even tried to fight back, the warmth getting to their head and making their blood boil, but the cold eyes that met the depth of their souls were more than enough to cool down such thugs.
Though as the grumpy emperor came out onto a northern street, something caught his attention. A cloak standing out in the middle of the pale, silky clothes of the local, surrounded by a familiar presence.
"... Lazenca? Oh, hey, Lazenca!"
Unsane waved and pushed his way through. Fate might be on his side.

The voice reminded him of nothing... but the name, he did. He'd written it down and committed it to short term memory, so when someone called that name, he could turn. And turn, he did.
Someone approaching quite quickly, happy to see him? He'd wait and see who this person was, eyes narrowed as his focus cut through the swarm of people.
"Who..."

"Oh, shut up." Yelled Unsane over his shoulder to a merchant who was wailing, his whole stock of honeydew melons knocked over thanks to the domino effect of people collapsing when Unsane tripped a particularly burly woman out of his way. Yelling over, his attention returned to the hood. Why the hood anyway? Must be steaming under it. Unsane himself, while still wearing pants and a tie, had taken off his jacket and rolled up the sleeves of his shirt.
"Never thought I'd see someone I know here, you're a lifesaver."
