"Oh yursh! Im quite proud of it!" Over the weekend Kai had only seen part of her painting. Now it was completely finished.
"I wasn't goign to finishs it last night.. But I had a different dream of her last night. When I woke up I had to finish it in the style of my dream." In her painting, the girl had wings and in her hand was a tree like plant with a strange light around it. The arm that held the plant and her leg on the same side where covered in lush looking vines. The background kind of looked like the place they had visited a few days ago in the country.
"Do you like it?" Ryu asks.

Kai smiles, slowly taking in all of it. "Its breath taking."

Ryu gives Kai a big smile. "Yay! Im glad you like it!" She does a lil jig. At the classroom door she hears a familiar giggle and glances that way. It was one of the girls she used to hang around with some of her friends. Ryu smirks at them and shows them her bird finger. The girl rolls her eyes and walks off, her friends trailing behind.
"Dumb b***h.. She's afraid to amit that she wants me." Ryu laughs.

Kai blinks in confusion, deciding to stay away from the subject. "Anyways, so what are you going to do with it?"

"Im not sure. I think Im gonna keep it and hang it up in my room so I can fall asleep starring at it." She smiles big again and chews on her bottom lip. She hugs her painting. And laughs.

"You really love her, don't you?" She questions, gazing up at the taller girl.

"Whaaa?" She blushes deep but smiles dispite herself. "L-love her? She is only in my dreams.. How could someone possibly love a person that's not real?" She feels her face burning. "Im just really proud that I did so well on this..heh.."

She shakes her head. "What do you mean dreams are not real?" Her eyes lock back to her book. "Arnt dreams just as real when your 'day dreaming'. What about my dream? I always wake up in pain. Are you saying that pain is not real? That I don't really feel it? If I can feel pain and sorrow in my dreams, you can feel love in yours. Dreams are more than anyone will ever think of them. Dreams are where I live, no matter how much pain are involded in them." She falls silent for a momment. "Dreams, might even be reality, and we just don't know it."

Her smile fades but she was still blushing. "Yah, you're right.. I know better. I've always believed that dreams were a window to another dimension. It was so hard for me to get myself up since the dream started. I was so happy when I was asleep as long as I could see her and feel her warmth for just a few seconds..And now I have her here for the world to see." She smiles and looks Kai in the eyes.
And you make it worth waking up in the morning Kai.. Ryu thinks to herself and breaks eye contact with her again.
"Im feeling a little dizzy. I didn't really get any sleep after I woke up last night so Im going to go sit down." She goes and takes her seat setting her painting next to her on the floor.

Kai's eyes staid locked on the book as she turned the page, her face slightly in pain. She set her right hand ontop of her left forearm where the ace bandage was.

Ryu watched Kai from her seat. She watched Kai's face show a bit of pain.. and she also just noticed the bandage on Kai's arm. What the..? Why didn't I notice that earlier..? She gets up and moves close to Kai.
"What happened to your arm?" She asked trying to be casual.

"Nothing." She answered dully as she usualy spoke durring school.

"Really? SO you wouldn't mind if I poke you right there in your arm then?" She points her index finger at Kai's arm and looks at Kai sternly.

Kai moved her arm behind her back so it was against the window. Now holding her book one handly in the right, using her thumb to turn the page.

Ryu sighs heavily. " Why must you be stubborn and hide things like this? Please tell me what happened. I'll get on my knees and beg if I have to!"
