"Well, we don't have any in the apartment right now." Kairi said, "In fact, I don't think I've seen a chaos emerald in a month or so... maybe more..."
The thought suddenly hit her, ever since she had died and been reborn in her current form, with the help on the emeralds, she had taken on an emerald like aura. If this guy was tracking them, he might have confused her for one. She didn't feel like explaining this to a stranger so she simply smiled her cutest smile, "Yup, no emeralds here."

Super blinked, curious of what just transpired. He had greeted a lizard on the stairs, and he just walked on by, completely ignoring him. "G.U.N. Agents and sleepwalking lizards, when will the normal return?"
((Which is odd, considering Super has both Emeralds in his possession.))

Valin looked at the person who opened the door. "You say you have no emeralds, but my sense tells me your lying." Valin said very calmly. "I didn't come all this way to be lied to, so I ask of you one last time, please hand over the emeralds. I need them so I can place them into protection." Valin said staring into the eyes of person in front of him.

Kairi decided to keep playing dumb. "Emeralds, what emeralds? I told you I don't have any emeralds here." She fake laughed, "Maybe you should go check a jewelry store."
She wasn't very much into explaining what had happened to her, especially to a random stranger who let himself into her apartment and demanded chaos emeralds. She knew that if the really needed help she could call for Super, but she hoped that this lizard would just go away. She didn't know how much he could sense about the emeralds.

"Look, I traveled from Mushroom Hill, my clan was in charge of the emeralds, but something happened and I wasn't able to protect them like I was suppose to do." Valin said as he tried to explain himself. "I have traveled far, and they told me to come to his spot. Now to quiet the voices in my head, you must please hand over the emeralds." Valin said a little more forcefully. "I wasn't talking about the scratch on your knee. I'm talking about you have an emerald presence that if very strong about you, one must be very close."

Kairi dropped her cute act and looked the lizard straight in the eyes. "I don't have any emeralds. If you're asking about my aura, it's caused by something that happened a long time ago. I should be dead but the emeralds gave me a new life." She said, very plainly. "But I don't have any emeralds. I can't use chaos control properly so I don't see the need."
The last part was a mumble. "I have too many weird things to think about with out a bunch of damn emeralds..."

"Slide, slide, sliding along... This got boring real quickly." Sickle admitted as he flew through the city streets. He made a few dangerous turns to make it fun, but when he could no longer go super-fast in lou of crashing, he eventually left the slider forgotten near the Burger Shop. He stopped and looked inside, remembering when they had used this as a base of operations. Moving along, Sickle made full well to enjoy the rest of the night...
"Something doesn't seem right... Is it still deserted from before. Neat." He muttered, thinking over yesterday. He checked for his cell phone. He frowned, realizing he had forgotten it. "Darn it. It's like... normal time... It hink.. in England. I wonder how Kai's doing there..." He thought, trying to contemplate why he couldn't tag along - even though he supplied the reason before - he had work.

Valin was getting anger, angered that how could the emeralds lie to him...? He turn around, "Then...why did they lead me hear?" He asked himself nearly inauditable. Valin turned and exited the apartment. "I am sorry to have troubled you, it wasn't my place to intrude like this, have a good evening."

"Alright..." Kairi said, raising an eyebrow at the strange lizard. "Later, man."
She then came back into the apartment and checked the messages on the answering machine. There were no new messages. No sign of Sickle. "Damn it, That wolf... no manners... his girlfriend and he doesn't even call... mumble... mumble.."

Valin continued to exit of the apartment, upon getting to the entrance, he sat at the stoop of the entrance. He left a heavy sigh, Did I really think it was going to be that easy? He thought to himself. Not that he knew that his sense wasn't always going to be correct, he didn't know what to do, he could trust anything that was being processed in his head. He could not listen to Chaos Emeralds any longer. "All this way...From nothing..." Kain said under his breath.

Moonshock looked away from the window she had opened when she heard what Kairi had said. Turning around, she stared at the brown package that Kairi had been holding onto before she set it down to open the door.
"I might as well." Moonshock said. "At least before I run out of time and Sparky takes over."
Moonshock really didn't want Sparky opening a present for her, and so preceeded to open the packaged. She tore off the brown paper that was covering it, before ripping open the box...trying not to rip it to much and cause the contents inside to spill out.

Moonshock stared into the box for a moment, before pulling out necklace with a white stone on it. She poked it softly as she watched it spin around. She really couldn't find anything to say--which usually meant she liked it. And that was soon proven as she slipped the necklace around her neck.
