Soren remained in his sitting position and showed no sign of giving up so easily. "Sounds nice. Also sounds like something to take better care of." Soren cracked his neck. "You never really struck me as the type to be afraid you know. What are you scared of anyway?"

"I'm not scared of someone taking my life." Arina replied. "And I'm not about to tell you if I'm afraid and what I'm afraid of because you'll probably end up using it against me." She walked forward again and went to take the whip out of Soren's hand.

Soren smirked and slapped Arinas hand harshly with his foot. "Not the point." he said still holding out the whip. "You're scared of something and that fear clings to you. That's why you havn't advanced any. That's why you're weak. Ever try just letting go?"

"No." Arina replied. "Because my fear is that I will lose Taku. Getting rid of that fear will also get rid of the feelings that I have for him, meaning love." She replied smoothly. "Caring for someone doesn't make you weak, caring for no one does."

"And so you have a low selfesteem." Soren said bluntly. "And it just holds you back. You know what that fear does in a battle?" He began circling around Arina still holding onto her whip but not moving his arms. "Hmmmm.... Hit me."

"No I don't have low self esteem." Arina replied. "I'm not afraid of death, I'm not afraid of dying......I would die protecting the ones I love." When he told her to hit him she didn't hesitate but she used a quick fake out punch to hopefully distract Soren while she punched lower.

Soren's defense was immediate. A fast snap of his coming up to collide with the hit before launching backward onto the rock and taking up the same combat pose where his arms were fixed. Regal Kicks taijutsu style, only the legs fight. Soren sighed. "Let me teach you and you get back the whip then."

Arina glared, cracking the bones in her hand back into place. "Why?" She asked. "Is this some other trick so you can test your strength out on me and kill me?"

"Noooo...." Soren said slowly cracking his neck. "It's because you are weak!" Using his speed he shot forward with a flying roundhouse kick towards her shoulder ment so she would be able to dodge. "I'm not about to watch some girl become the weakest link of the village just because she has doubts about her relationship. I don't need to test my strength against you since we already know I'm by far the better one." His other leg swung low to take out her feet.

Arina dodged the first kick easily but the second quick was a bit harder and she almost fell to the ground. She stepped back a bit. "I don't have doubts." She replied.

"Good then strike to survive." Soren said as he skidded around to face Arina still. "Your little fears are weak and meaningless if you just let things go on in a fight." He spun and kicked sideways towards her stomach. "If you can't get rid of them in battle then use them."

Arina fell to the ground and gasped as she held her stomach, since her stomach hurt.
