Miranda sits on her bed as she gets a piece of parchment out. "Now where's my quill...." She digs around in her trunk, looking for her quill. "Gotcha!" Miranda pulls out her quill and looks at her piece of parchment. "Now what to draw...?" Miranda looks around and remembers what she loved to draw most, dragons. She began to quickly draw the figure of a dragon on her parchment. "This is going to take a while." Miranda continued drawing quickly.

Katrina finished her drawing and held it up to the light. She compared it to the actual landscape for flaws. Deciding it was satisfactory, she decided to send it to her family.
"I guess they'll want to see what it's like," she muttered. "I mean, since neither of them could have ever seen this particular view, before..."
She laughed a little, called her owl, then put the drawing which she had inserted into an envelope around her leg with some string.
"All right, Lenore... take this to mom and dad, all right?" She told her owl. Then after accepting a treat, Lenore glided out the window and began to fly off into the distance.
After a moment, Katrina noticed Miranda.
"Hello... I see you like to draw, too?" She asked kindly. The thought to herself: "Maybe it's about time I tried to be a little more social... I better get to know some people!"

Miranda looked up. "Oh ya, I like drawing. I'm really good at drawing dragons...not so much people." Miranda quicky looked back down and drew the scales. When she was done with the scales, she looked back up. "I hope to get it done some times today." Miranda showed Katrina the picture of the dragon. "It's almost done, all I have to do is add more color." Miranda looked back down as she began to color the dragon gold and orange.

I'M BACK!!!!! AHHH!!! I'VE MISSED YOU ALL SO MUCH! NO, ACTUALLY SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! GAH, IT'S BEEN PURE TORTURE!!"
Mikki goes upstairs to the dormitories and *glomps* Princess, Ari, and anyone else up there. She then sprints back down to the common room and makes a ruckus, waking everyone in Ravenclaw.
"It is SOOOOO great to be back! You have no clue what torture I went through!!! Stupid lent. I am NEVER doing THAT again. I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU AGAIN!!!!!"
After a few seconds of calming down, Mikki plops into a soft chair.
"It really has been horrible. This last week all I could think about was coming back! And I can't believe I missed all of the lessons! I'm going to have to take those classes again. I'm so far behind! What have I missed? Gah, 40 days is WAAAYY too long!"

umm, other than that not much. unless you count all the lessons you missed and like half of the end o term event.

Miranda jumps as Mikki makes a huge ruckus. She was so startled that her quill poked a hole in the middle of her parchment. "Man, I was almost done, too." Miranda throws her parchment under her bed and gets a new one. "Well, all I have to do is start over..." She begins to redraw her dragon.

Miranda laughs. "Don't worry! I always make a few major mess-ups when I drawing. Don't sweat it, OK?" Miranda looks as Miranda. ((that sounds weird, doesn't it?)) "It won't be too confusing. We might have the same personality, but no one ever looks the same, right?"

((yeah. LOL)) Miranda nods. "Yep. Besides, we don't even have that same of personalities anyway. I could never draw, no matter hard I tried. I'm more of a writer than an illistrator."

Miranda puts her quill and parchment down. "I like to do both. Writing and drawing are both awesome in my eyes." She adds some scales to her dragon. "Besides, I can only draw dragons. Trust me, I've tried to draw people. When I was done with them, they looked like mutant aliens...I think I still have a picture of my mom that I tried to draw..." Miranda rummaged throught her trunk. "Here it is!" She showed Miranda and Mikki the mutant picture of her mom. "Never ask me to draw a person."
