Luckily, there hadn't been much to impede her progress, forging her way through though keeping an eye out for any traps they hadn't discovered yet. She reached her destination shortly, looking around her at the room. When she heard Wizard's voice over the intercom, she tapped it and responded to let them know she was there. "Athena here. Nothing major happening here thought there's a hovering shiny disk here now."

It was weird working with Hu Li. Both of them were newbies but they barely knew each other. And since they were both so new, they were doubly careful about everything, not wanting to set off any traps. But they reached point 7 safely. She gestured to Hu Li to answer the intercom.

Blanche finally made it to her corner and presses the button on the intercom, "Blanche here. Looks like I got the same thing going on here as well."

Blanche looked at the device and pondered cuz it reminded her of something. "This looks like what our deuses put us in to make us into the angels we are." She walks around the hovering disc and ponders.

"Skizzuurrit. Okay everyone, let's push the button... NOW!"

Without further ado, Wizard pushed his button

At the very same time, the other four Angels pushed their buttons as well. The pulsating light slowed and slowly turned green. Off in the distance, in the center of the Entry Room, it sounded like a huge bolt was turning and being released on an even bigger door.

Then, there was a squealing of metal sliding against metals as if some huge metallic object were sliding against its will. It had a very unnerving feeling to it.

To make matters worse, an ear-shattering roar echoed throughout the halls defeaning them and even making their Deuses cover their ears in the hopes of shutting out the frightening din.

As the chilling roar faded, Wizard reached out and punched the Intercom button.

"Skizzrit. "That didn't sound good! Let's meet back in the Entry room!"

Without a moment to lose, Wizard spun around and dashed back down the hallway, back the way he'd come. He and Blanche met around the entrance to Hallway 16.

"I have a really bad feeling about this," he told her. "We've got to hurry!"



Hu Li could hear his own fear echoed in the voice of his senior. He nodded at Cassandra, nothing needed to be said as they both took off running back the way they'd come.

As the five Angels reach the Entry Room at the same time, they can see that the center of the floor has split into four wedges, which have retracted back into the sides of the hole.

Standing in the middle of an enormous cavern, eerily lit by the strange lights running throughout the place, stood a gi-normous dragon. It looked to have been digging its hole deeper, burrowing deeply into the circuitry and nodes beneath it. It roared again, deafening everyone in the room, angry at having its hidey-hole uncovered.

eek Wizard's eyes were open in shock as he gauged himself against the Dragon, barely coming up to the things ankle. He looked over at Blanche and then across the great expanse at the other three Angels.

Above the din of the virus dragon he yelled,"I think we're going to need a lot more help!!!!"

Caneton called his two Angels to him as he ripped off the control visor.

"We've got to go round up as many Deuses and their Angels as we can because we can't handle this thing alone. And we've got to hurry before it breaks through any more security systems on the main computer... or escapes to somewhere else.

"I propose that the three of us round up as much help as possible and meet back here ASAP. Oogata, do you think you can keep it where it is until we get back?"

Oogata:
"I'll do my best."

Caneton:
"Then let's go."

Oogata didn't even have time to blush as he was now openly fighting the virus, out in the open, by himself. He didn't have the time to even glance up as Isis left, but he said,"Please hurry... and I'll hold you to that date."

He then returned his concentration back to the task at hand. Now that it's hiding spot had been uncovered, the virus was working harder than ever to get to the core of the main computer. Oogata was routing whatever systems he could spare to throw in front of the virus and slow it down, while, at the same time, attacking it from all sides and trying to pin it in place.

It was taking all of his mental faculties to stay on top of this thing. He just hoped that the others hurried!!

Purr sat down, looking vaguely disappointed that no one else was with them, but giving a small encouraging smile to Caneton and Zy. They would make this work, they just had to!

Flipping Athena and Cassandra into the Layer, she cheered for them inwardly. The two Angels flowed into the Layer, Athena giving a small twirl and Cass a bow to Hu Li and Wizard while they waited for Fei.

Wizard saluted the other Angels and then turned to looked deep down into the pit below them. Even with Oogatas efforts, the Virus dragon was still digging away! It had grown too powerful over time and had barely been slowed down.

Not wanting to really know, Wizard touched the scanner on the side of his goggles and scanned the stats on the Virus below them.



Behind his blue visor, his eyes popped wide open as the computer he was linked to finished sending him the data!

"In the name of the creator (Icchan blaugh )! That thing is so scary!!!"

Silently he wondered if the 5 of them could even scratch this thing!
