Sahaqiel Heh. Just noticed a post above this with "Peg leg" in it, and it reminded me of a DnD character Jesse (Durahan) made. He was a Cleric who got one of the other players killed, and they ended up possessing his peg leg. He went crazy, and stole a boat, and gouged his eye out. So then we had a CLeric/Pirate with an eye patch and a peg leg on a ship with carvings all over the boat of the Epic Battle Between Man and Fish. Great times. Sounds like an awesome character. And yeah, I'll send you a PM, when I get to it. I've been a bum lately.

rofl My Lord. ED, they don't have a carrot-head for your avy? You should take that screenshot and make one of those incredibly long and well-signed petitions for plush carrot costumes. Your house alone makes it worthwhile.

The pipe was just a metaphor for arranging things so that a character who was no longer active wouldn't be holding up the action. Blitz used a lead pipe to knock Jez unconcious...a few times, in mid conversation...because his bed time was 9 o'clock.
Extreme measures are usually only used when you can't write your character out of it though. I mean, all things considered, it's easy as pie to be distracted and move off from a conversation or other character.
