Yay!!
My brothers ex-girlfriend is back from uni for Easter, and she said she might be able to get me a job, and she came round yesterday and told me that the head waiter wanted to see me, so we rushed up there after they were closed, and he took my phone number and asked me to go in tomorrow night, to see if I like the place, and if I do I've got the job!!!
So today I went out and bought new black trousers and shirts.
If I can handle McDonalds then I can handle anything >.>
It's a waitress job at an Italian Restaurant! mrgreen

On a sadder note, some emails have come back to me from the law firms I applied to (for vacational work). So far they've all been polite rejections. Ah well, at least it isn't the end of the world...

I've got 4 more firms I have to apply to tomorrow. They are the smaller-type firms, so maybe I might have a better chance with them... rolleyes
All the big law firms get applications from A students, so it isn't any wonder that they don't bother looking past my results.

I got the restaurant job last night, which would be about 1 or 2 shifts a week ;______________; poo really, so I rang KFC today at 2.00 about an application I handed in about 3 weeks ago, and she said she was doing interviews today and wanted me in at 2.30! eek
So I get dressed (in my waitress uniform) XD and head out, having to get my dad to drop me off on the way to work else I'd be late, got there at 2.35, filled in a question sheet thingy, got showed around and she gave me the job! eek and it's 16-20 hours a week, so now I have two jobs! eek sweatdrop
But the restaurant manager was supposed to ring me today about a shift tomorrow night, and it's now 8.50pm and he hasn't called yet gonk
