Candycane Scartissue Makoto smiled as he watched her, happy to see the mirrored excitement in her eyes. "No late fees, that's definitely the best part," he spoke, shoving his hands into his pockets. Megan was silent for a few minutes as she ran her fingers over book spines, chewing on her lip before she pulled one out, flipping through it. She closed, then looked back up. "I'm sorry. My mind totally jumped to these books. What were you saying?"

"Oh, nothing," Makoto laughed. He looked over Megan, smiling to her gently. "I'm glad you found the section you were looking for."

Megan smiled, tucking the book under her arm. "Me too. Thanks. I'm not used to libraries. I usually just get magazines for this sort of thing..." she shrugged faintly and reached down, smoothing out an obvious fold in her skirt.

Makoto looked at her for a long moment, finally tearing his gaze from her to look at his nails. "Well, if you've found what you're looking for, I suppose I will leave you to your books," he spoke quietly.

Megan watched him for a few moments, then smiled, and looked away, innocently. "I suppose...I don't know. I'm not very familiar with the rest of the library." She tapped her lip.

Makoto turned his head quickly, looking to her. "Do you need help?" he asked, perhaps all too eagerly.

Megan smiled. "I hear I should read more. And you seem to see like you know more about the library. So, you know. Any advice you could give me." She leaned toward him slightly.

The boy perked up instantly at the thought of offering some advice. "Well! I don't know too much but I suppose I can help some way," he started. "First off, what kind of books do you like? Or, what kind of things do you find interesting?"

"Well, we covered fashion and what not..." Megan tilted her head. "I like older novels...French lately." She laughed, her cheeks turning just a bit pink. "Old things in general, really."

"Oh! Cool," Makoto said, gesturing for Megan to follow him. "There's a section for international books and stories, and most of them are translated."

Makoto led the pretty girl to the section titled International. He looked over the books, smiling fondly before turning to Megan. "This should do. I don't know if they're sorted by country or author, though," he spoke, scratching his head.

"Good to know." Megan smiled as she looked over the books. After a moment she turned back towards him. "What kinds of books to you like? Besides the art ones, I mean."

"Well, I like fictional books. I prefer comics though, easier to read and understand," Makoto admitted with a faint blush. "My half sister is obsessed with graphic novels and such," he continued, "she even has her own."
