*Kino* Ginger Snapple autumn_green dark-T-lord Lady Miaka I so look forward to reading Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden. I would love to see Takiko's role of the story in the Universe of the Four Gods. We even got to see a little bit of younger Suzuno (Priestess of Byakko) in the story as well. I can't wait to read this upcoming manga series!! It would be like a dream come true if this was actually animated, I could just imagine it. whee kool Doesn't Takiko get murdered by her own father because that was what it said in Fushigi Yuugi??? It's never confirmed. Einosuke says in a letter that he is going to murder Takiko. Not that he did. Also, Takiko may have just disappeared and the note may have been found (because I remember seeing something in the 8th book (I think) about a newspaper report of him murdering Takiko). I'm hoping when he goes to kill her something will happen... And she'll go be with Uruki.I dont remember where but i remember watching it being said in some part during the series. They say that after the priestess makes her wish she has to go back to her world and cant return or whatever. And that the gods cant make the wish come true as to the priestess staying inside the book @_@ It was the old priest in book...8, I believe, who says that he thinks the priestess went back to her world. And Tatara says the beast God will never grant the wish for a priestess to stay in the book. But Miaka found some way around it... I hope that Takiko dies (by her own choice, not by murder) and meets Uruki in death.

Sorry if I'm wrong, but didn't it say somewhere in the original FY that when Takiko came back to the real world, she was being devoured and it hurt so much that her father "took pity on her" and killed her? domokun

[Chrissy] Sorry if I'm wrong, but didn't it say somewhere in the original FY that when Takiko came back to the real world, she was being devoured and it hurt so much that her father "took pity on her" and killed her? domokun Einosuke's letter said that she was being devoured and that he was going to kill her. Therefore the action had not been done yet.

I think you can find scanlations up to chapter 9. After that you either have to look at raw scans beside translations or just buy the manga at a bookstore.

autumn_green I hope the rest of the volumes come out soon!!! Even Japan does not have volume 6. Its in the works currently. So you probably wont see this series rushed out. From what I have read two new FYGK chapters will come out on 1/9/2007. That should conclude volume 6, then it will have to be turned into a bound book in Japan, then it should be distributed to other countries to translate and publish.
