Roger Wehrli | Cornerback, St.Louis Cardinals  Voted to NFL's all-decade team of 1970s, was 1st-team All-Pro 5 times (1970, 1974-1977) n' made Pro Bowl 7 times. Registered interception in all but 2 seasons n' amassed 40 career interceptions, 2 for touchdowns. From 1974-76, picked off 12 passes as Cardinals put together string of 3 straight double-digit win seasons, includin' back-to-back NFC East titles (1974, 1975). Recovered franchise record-tying 19 fumbles durin' career.

The Hall of Fame is getting way too crowded with players that weren't even the best of the best. Micheal Irvin was good and all but his stats weren't HOF matiral in my mind.

 Robitaille won Calder Memorial Trophy as 1986-87 rookie of year after scorin' 45 goals n' 39 assists.

 "Lucky" Luc scored 44 goals or more in each of his 1st 8 seasons with Kings.

 Robitaille's 63 goals n' 123 points -- most ever by a left winger, powered Kings into 1993 playoffs where they reached Stanley Cup Finals.

 Kings traded Robitaille to Pittsburgh after 1993-94 season for Rick Tocchet n' a 2nd-round draft pick.

 After just 1 strike-shortened season with Penguins, Robitaille was traded to New York Rangers where he spent 2 seasons -- 2nd one spent reunited with his former Kings teammate, Wayne Gretzky.

 In 1997, Robitaille returned to Kings for 4 more seasons, but was still unable to attain coveted Stanley Cup.

 Robitaille signed with Los Angeles in 2003 n' became highest-scorin' left winger in NHL history (1,394 points). Kings honored him with a ceremony that included his wife Stacia n' sons Steven n' Jesse.
