There, she heard them! Shoving her way through the crowd, she kicked a royal that decided to try and get too close to her before moving onward. She hoped they didn't move too much, her throat was starting to hurt from all the shouting.

Luckily for her she found Vos first, spotting the small child. "Vos!" She said, running over to her. She looked uninjured and for that she was glad. "I'm glad I found you, let's find Reemus." They needed to hurry, this was starting to get crazy.

At first, Ephias thought it had not worked. Etsali was too far gone for him to save. Then he saw the charred flesh begin to smooth. Where it was black it returned to pale grey. After a moment, her eyes opened. Her gaze was distant and unfocussed. Ephias felt his bloodpusher clench.

“Ephias.”

Ephias huffed a sigh of relief and fell back onto his heels. His hand dropped to his side. Though his face was drawn with anxiety, he managed a faint smile.

“Ets—oof!” Suddenly the orangeblood had tackled him. Ephias winced as he felt a sharp pain from his shoulder from the squeeze. He was too happy to see her alive and moving to mind though. As she cried into his good shoulder, Ephias gingerly manoeuvred his arms under hers to return the hug. He gave her a tight squeeze. For once, the close contact felt right.

“Only if we're k-keeping score,” he responded, when she pulled away. His mouth spread to form a genuine smile and he reached up to adjust her mask. “Hopefully we won't need to though.”

The sounds of the battle around them brought Ephias back to reality. The cheer faded from his features, and his face settled into its usual deadpan expression. Rising to his feet, Ephias switched his shears into his right hand, and offered his left to Etsali.

“Let's work together?” he suggested, turned his gaze towards the military forces. Behind them was the greenblood, still wielding the missile launcher. If he fired off another shot...

She didn't know where her friends were. Vremea. Keinox. Athene. Odette. Ephias... where had they gone? We're they hurt? Did they die? Her blood run cold.

She was ab,e to land a critical hit. Pantjng, milieu wiped her brow.

The suction of the mud was slowly relenquiching under the strategically placed force of the greenblod, the other lusus, a few drones, and Nictor's combined efforts. A few more charred bodies came tumbling down, landing with sickening thuds nearby, causing the injured but waterlogged drones who were climbing from the water in their own falls to hesitate. Nictor saw as much and treated them to some distressed clicks and hums, while gesturing between Bee or back to the fight.

A loud schlucking noise sounded and Nictor grabbed Bee and pulled with all his migth as the big lusus pulled free of the mud and the group was able to drag the lusus ashore, relieved sobs and hums coming from Nictor in spades. He gave a wavering thankful smile to the greenblood, clutching and petting at Bee's ruined fluffy coat.

ZEFFER ATTACK THAT DANK KURSH

Zeffer was, once again, relieved and impressed by Vremea's skills. A hit like that could easily have put him or any other troll out of commission without serious help, but there she was, climbing to her feet again as he helped her up. He found himself admiring her resilience, but only returned the nod, trying not to look as grave as he felt. "Good. We're almost there..." He tried to reassure, and hoped he was right. The cavern was gripped with chaos, a state he would have very much relished in were it not for the fact that he was looking after more than his own health.

Rallied by her cry, and the flash of her scythe, Zeffer snarled, and charged ahead. Her injuries would make moving around painful, and the least he could do was help clear the way.

Forera finally managed to get on her feet after along while of crying and yelping when things hurt too much. With trembling hands, the tealblood walked and stumbled a little, walking limply toward Anguis's weapon and grabbing the handle of the weapon in pain, Forera snarled— The metal was still hot and scathing, so she immediately let go. Maybe with some effort... Grabbing the weapon with her metal hand, it took all her strength to somehow swing it at the nearest drone and nail him right in the head. "T-take that..." Forera could barely speak properly from how rattled she was, but she managed, holding tight onto the metal and dragging his sword along.

When Etsali came, Forera could barely move. Looking up to her silently, she stayed quiet for a bit longer when Etsali tried to touch her shoulder. It was then that the girl shrieked and recoiled, breathing hard and coughing smoke out of her body. "N-no! No, don't, don't... Touch me. I-I'm sorry, it just, really hurts, really really bad." She said, managing to steady her breathing and release a few more tears. Starting to use the weapon as a walking stick, Forera kept walking, only to collapse to the ground, shaking. "I-I... I'm sorry..." She teared up, clutching onto the weapon— Anguis. She needed to move, to see if he was okay, he was fine! She was fine. "I'm so-sorry Estali..."

Zindel wanted to leave. Not only was his back bleeding and he had more holes in his body then he could ever possibly need, the redblood was just sick and tired of any type of physical abuse, even if it was what he signed up for. He hadn't meant to put himself out there in any way, or possibly gain the attention of the military-- He just wanted the healthcare. And that-- Zindel internally scoffed. What health had he received but more beatings? He was slowly losing not only his health, but his patience. A long sigh slid out of his body the exact same time he heard the mutant start speaking again.

Watching a rebel pass by him, Zindel was suddenly splashed in an unknown liquid, something that brought him sick to his stomach. It literally covered his body completely before he could realize what'd happen-- One whiff of the smell told him all he needed to know. Watching her drop the hastily swiped match almost in slow motion, Zindel opened his mouth to yell-- Only to hear someone scream nearby.

Wait a second, that was him.

The pain was something he physically could not describe. Never in his life had he felt something so agonizing, body shaking as it fell limply to the ground, voice still mustering a few strangled whimpers pain. It was choked and he didn't know how to stop screaming-- It felt like he was actually being tortured. He didn't know when the fire stopped, but the pain was still as intense and violent as it was before.

He should've stayed in the city. That way, he didn't have to go through all this bullshit.

HP: 9 - 7 = 2 HP

"BYAKKO! Keep fighting! Fight hard!" He was sad, and afraid. His mother was bleeding. His friends were too. Maneki voice was cracking. God no. If they didn't make it...

He took his fears out on the drones, slashing and gouging them.
