 Nix Gallen It was really him. Gin was truly right before her, it wasn't an illusion or a trick. Nix felt a wave of relief wash over her at finally finding someone once again. The fact it was something she really cared for made it all the better. Tears started gathering in her eyes and she couldn't help but give the man a tight hug. It was further confirmation that he was there.. "I'm glad you're safe too, Gin.. I was starting to think I would never find another friend. All I've seen are demons and that.. thing for days." Eiji "Gin" Mishima  "What are you doing out here? There are demons all over the place..." Despite his question, Gin quickly returned the hug, knocking that Nix must have been just as happy to see him as he was her. There weren't a lot of people who would have given him as much pause to find as her, but relief at their meeting was met in equal measure by worry that there were still demons about. He was just about to say how happy he was again though...he felt like he had to...when his eyes shot wide and he gripped Nix tightly, turning her in his arms so he could protect her. "Look out!" As suddenly as he grabbed her, an explosive wave came flying their way, and Gin felt lucky that he had such a thick studded jacket as his clothing was torn by the sudden attack from a Megrez Bud. Just what such a creature was doing all the way out here was anyone's guess, but he knew that he had to defeat it before it did anymore harm...and with Nix in danger he couldn't waste any time! He turned as soon as the attack died down, blood dripping down his back from the wind scar, and with a click of his phone Lucifer appeared again to let out a wave of almighty prowess. "Damn you Megrez! I'll destroy as many Buds as you throw at me! I won't let you hurt Nix! Nngh...!" Gin winced from the pain, but just as quickly followed up with another attack, hammering the Bud and leaving it no time to counter. It was faster and stronger than any barrage of attacks he'd used before, but only because he knew what was behind him right now. He couldn't fail with Nix watching...there was no damn way in hell! "It's all about working hard and livin' it up. So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"Demons were one thing. Septentriones were another. Defeating one was on a completely different level than fighting the other and even surviving, varying levels of difficulty making it all the harder to adapt to the situation at hand. Even someone who was used to fighting, who thrived in chaos and combat, like Touma Makushima found himself with few answers when the Buds of Megrez were moving down the road slowly crumbling buildings with the shuddering power of their Diastrophism Earthquakes. In his mind's eye he could see himself outmaneuvering the creatures and taking them down over time, a battle of endurance...but in practice, he knew how these fights usually went. They were otherworldly...and even with the power of Demons, this was something that he simply couldn't accomplish through normal means.
He needed to do what he hated most of all...he needed to retreat.
"s**t...Ishtar! Stall him!" he bit in a mixture of anger and desperation as he avoided what would have surely been a fatal blow by the good fortune of his demon's appearing in between the two of them, being knocked aside like a paperweight as the drummer circled the alley towards the back of the club, "Luvi, cork the booze and cheese it!" He called over the din and whir of the strange creature, waiting for her just long enough to join him at the back door before taking off down the road to give their pursuer the slip.Quote: Devil: Ghost Q [26], Ishtar [23]

Nix Gallen The moment of peace was quickly disturbed as Gin used himself as a shield to protect her. Nix couldn't help but stare at the terrible wounds he suffered across his back. So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"It hadn't been a completely scot-free getaway, but the few demons that had tried to stop them weren't all that strong. Their escape had, thankfully, been a success. Still, having to leave the club and their free time together behind had been something of a blow to the drummer's morale, his mood already sinking into a mixture of anger and a thirst for revenge against the creatures that had driven them to such a sorry state. As if Inaba wasn't ******** up enough of its own, now it had oh, just an APOCALYPSE happening! Just how was he supposed to live his debauched life of luxury when the whole world was going to s**t around him?!

Eiji "Gin" Mishima "What the-!?" Suddenly Gin's phone began ringing off the hinge, and he knew right away what it meant. He turned his head to glance down the road, and there at the end of the street was the pink haired socialite he'd left in Iwatodai some months back. "I thought I told you not to come before me until you made up for stealing my girlfriend, Makushima!" Gin gripped his phone tightly, but as quickly as he turned to yell at the newcomer, he realized that despite the somewhat clumsy way he was run and gunning with the Bud he was fighting, Touma wasn't in trouble. But that meant that the only other person was... "s**t. Nix, look out-!" Gin whipped around, eyes wide as another Megrez Bud emerged from down the alley. There was only a moment until it attacked Nix, and they were already getting crowded by the demons filling the street. He knew it was risky to come this far out of the town, but to think they'd end up in this much hot water... Another blast of wind came flying their direction, and again Gin had to step in the way, though this time he was able to block with his weapon. Wind split down the middle, tearing at either shoulder and the arms attached to them until he'd survived the wave. "Don't...-huff- don't...you dare lay a hand on her!" Gin dashed down the street, smashing his tonfa into the creature's face as soon as he reached it, delivering blow after blow in a swift counter attack. The Megrez Buds might have been threatening, but...there was nothing on earth that could stop him now that he was in motion! Not when there were others to save, and not in front of Nix, damn it! You could have been killed!" Sako didn't hold back on dressing down the pink-haired drummer and the white-haired artist when they finally got back to the JPs Headquarters at the old Embryon Building, but if Touma's expression was any indication, he wasn't particularly enthused by her scolding. She huffed as he rolled his eyes and looked at the ceiling, making an animated display of how little he was listening. For the most part he didn't have any issue with Makoto and she had done a good bit to help him so far, ever since things had gotten really heavy on the first and second days. Still, it was in his DNA to buck against authority. It was just who he was! And really, he wasn't going to dance exactly to anybody's tune...even when he was on a multi-million yen contract to a record label for the next ten years! Did they think his life being on the line would make that any different? "-sigh- I'm just asking that you take care of yourselves. You are valuable allies to JPs...and I'd like to think that we're friends now, aren't we? I worry about you two. Okay? Dismissed."
"Yeah...yeah. Doing my thing is kind of my thing, Sako, but I don't have any intention of dying," he let out a breath and nodded as she expressed her final concerns, moving away...before at last turning his attention to Luvi with a cat-that-ate-the-canary smirk, "Bet they don't normally allow this sort of 'contraband' into the base. ...Want a drink before we go back out?"

Nix Gallen Once again Nix was protected by Gin but he paid the price for it. He was terribly injured by the sudden onslaught of demons and Megrez Buds. She had to protect him this time in some way! There was no way she could lose him.. She couldn't bear the thought. So the silverette got to her feet and hurried over to him when there was a break in the chaos. "Gin, stop! We should pull back before you get hurt even worse!" Nix plead as she used her demon to start mending in injuries. To see him getting hurt because of her.. it was painful. Quote: Nix lives! Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Tsk...sorry Nix. I lost my temper. We have to flee now, while the Bud's dazed!" Gin reached over, grabbing his fellow Persona User by the hand as he tried to lead the way back towards the center of town and away from the Residential District. Their homes might have once been here, but it was too unsafe to stay now, at least while the Septentriones still lived. Instead, they needed to report the danger that they'd seen, and get somewhere where they could rest and recover their strength. Otherwise... "Nix, keep an eye out as we run. I thought I spotted someone else I knew, but that face...I'm not sure why he'd be here in Inaba, when he was suppose to be cutting promos for us in Iwatodai. Unless he was shirking his meeting again." Gin smiled coyly as he imagined the oh so possible scenario, sprinting away from the Buds at full speed. It was easy to take out one or two, but you could get overwhelmed quickly if Megrez felt like doing so, and he wasn't going to subject Nix to that danger. Her safety was his biggest priority for the time being, and even finding Touma would have to wait, at least for a little bit. Besides, if that pink haired b*****d had any sort of talent for demon summoning...and that actually sounded quite like him...he'd be fine on his own. It was Megrez he worried about. Nix Gallen Nix tightly held Gin's hand in return, running right behind him to try and avoid the chaos. Though it seemed more and more buds were chasing them. ...Something about hard alcohol with absolutely no flavor profile made drinking all the more entertaining...perhaps because there were no illusions that there was anything casual about it and that the goal was definitely just to take the edge off, get wasted, have a completely debauched, no-rules time where inhibitions were completely gone, and...there wasn't nearly enough of this moonshine for the both of them to get drunk, no matter how strong it was. Damn it. Which meant that they were going to be bored again soon with just a light buzz, and there was still work to be done out in the town...his sentry-Ishtar had already knocked a couple of Kobolds into the Samegawa before returning to the App. Was there nothing else to do? Really?
"Guess somebody's going to to have to figure out how to take down that b*****d, Megrez," he sighed as he took one last drink of the moonshine, trying to figure out how they could find the main body shooting off the buds and do something about it. There was always tracing the trajectory, but from what he had seen it was almost certainly somewhere in the ocean...unless it was above water and they had a ship, they couldn't get to something like that. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "These Buds won't give up, will they?" Gin was breathing heavier than usual after the wounds he received, but they weren't safe yet. When his phone began going crazy he knew what was coming, and turned to look back despite telling himself not to...and there the Bud was again, preparing another attack. "Nix, duck!" Gin skidded to a halt, turning to face the attack as it shot towards the silverette's back. He crossed his tonfa, but the wind tore at his chest, exaserbating the wounds along his arms and back just as well. He was getting quite beat up from all of this, but he knew he couldn't give up. There was too much on the line...not just for he and Nix, but for others as well. "Tch, I was going to finish the Bud, but I missed my window...after all, I spotted a stop-dead beauty." Gin turned, offering a smile to Nix as he was forced to close his left eye, blood dripping down around the edge. And just as quickly as he added a bit of levity, he motioned for them to run again, taking advantage of this window where it had to recharge. Couldn't beat them away with a stick! They were practically crawling all over him like some kind of a screwed up pack of groupies and his security was on break! He clicked his tongue and rolled his neck, stretching out to crack his back smoothly, looking admittedly delicious as he did so to any of the fairer sex passing by...but it wasn't a show, it was simply releasing some annoyance and getting ready for the battle that would inevitably come. The moment he stopped being completely ready for the fight, that's when they would show up. But now that he was actually TRYING to find a Bud, preferably freshly-landed? They were like ghosts! Was someone out there just mopping them all like a spill in the kitchen?
"Let's try the Downtown area again," he suggested, knowing that they had been warned against it the last time by Sako but knowing it was also a likely area to search if they wanted to encounter some enemies of the Bud variety, "If we want to win, we're going to have to study it for weaknesses. Nix Gallen Nix stared at Gin after he saved her life yet again, getting more injuries in the process. Yet despite that, he still said a compliment and smiled at her. A small blush tinted her cheeks but a few tears gathered in her eyes. They started running again and she tightly gripped his hand again. "Thank you, Gin.. but save the compliments for when we're safe okay? I'll heal you too." The silverette answered before spotting a demon that had closed in on them. It was quickly cut down by her blade, trying not to let herself fall victim again.. Quote: Acquired a token! You're Makushima and Anegakoji, right?" a small girl with a white hat and a scarf ran up behind them as they reached the outskirts of Downtown, earning the attention of both as she huffed and tried to catch her breath for a moment before speaking up again...judging by the fact that both had responded to her call, they were the two in question, "I'm Ban. Airi Ban. Makoto told me you two would probably do something stupid like try to go downtown again and sent me to find you! I can't believe you guys would just go rushing back in there after what happened to you the last time! Are you stupid?" The short girl's tongue was certainly sharp, and her eyes were fierce to boot. Despite her stature there was all sorts of passion about her, not unlike the older girl in front of her. It was enough to make the pink-haired drummer nearly laugh, but he opted instead for a smirk. Most people would have been offended, but he merely ran a hand through his hair casually.
"Yeah, maybe. And you're no better rushing out here alone. At least I've got her to watch my back...what of it?" he teased, glancing back towards the Downtown area's main street carefully, making sure they weren't about to be ambushed, "We're going to figure out where to find this thing's shooting the Buds from and try to come up with a way to take it down. Might work, might not. But it's better than letting that chickenshit b*****d tear down the whole city from afar, isn't it?"
"That's! ...That...makes sense, actually. But Makoto still thinks you shouldn't!"
