Shoneah nodded. "Thanks, Wren," she smiled at her. "I don't know why I didn't think of looking there."

Wren chuckled again. "No worries. Just let me know when you find him, just so that I don't end up worrying, too."

"Will do," Shoneah promised. "See you." She hurried after Miyuki towards the tent.

They didn't have to wait long for a response.

"Go 'way," Andarien's voice came through the paper door. He didn't sound quite like himself: a bit nasal, perhaps, and gravelly.

Shoneah sighed softly, relieved that Andarien was in his room and that he hadn't gone missing. "You asked me to meet you in the forge room," she called back to him. "Did I get the time wrong?"

There was a long pause, and then Andarien called back quietly, "Tomorrow, 'kay? I don't feel so good."

There was another pause, this one briefer, and then Andarien offered a quiet, "Okay."

"Should I wait out here, then?" Shoneah asked Miyuki quietly. She wasn't used to people having their own rooms, but she imagined it was like people having their own tents - no one went in without invitation, and she hadn't been invited into Andarien's room with Miyuki.

Shoneah nodded. "Alright."

She waited behind while Miyuki went in.

Andarien's room was not much differently set up than his tent had been. His futon was against the back wall where it was out of the way, his chest was at the foot of his futon, and beside his chest, his notebook was out and open to a page full of designs, pencils and an eraser next to it.

Andarien was curled up in a ball on his futon, facing the wall, fully dressed, his blanket up around his shoulders. Kaede and Zeus were sitting next to him, watching over him, but Eon was pacing back and forth, clearly agitated by the fact that he couldn't do anything for his master.

Andarien didn't react to Miyuki's touch, but he pulled the blanket up higher over his shoulders.

"Cold," he muttered.

But despite his claim, he was sweating and his face was flushed. He wasn't wearing his goggles, and his eyes had a bit of a glazed look to them.

Clearly, cold wasn't the only problem.

Shoneah blinked. "Not well?" she repeated. Her brow furrowed anxiously. "That does explain why he didn't come to the forge ... I don't know what else would keep him away."

She bit her lower lip and glanced into the room.

"Should I sit with him while you get someone?" she asked softly.

"Probably not," Shoneah sighed; and as Miyuki ran off to find someone, she let herself into Andarien's room, leaving the door open behind her.

Outside, Shiro was still working at his tablet underneath a tree, not too far from the fire. Wren was also still working at the fire, and she smiled when she saw that Miyuki emerged from the tent alone.

"So Silverbirch found Andarien all right?" she called to Miyuki brightly.

Wren's smile vanished instantly. "That doesn't sound good," she murmured. "It sounds like fever ... but I've only heard of that from injuries that go uncared for. Was he hurt at all? Or is this a Gaian thing?"

She shook her head. "I don't know. Maybe you should ask Kyrie ... or perhaps your mother would know, she's Gaian, after all."
